Vic's Surprise Party with Gilly the Clown, Phil Braun, VB3 (Office Hours+ Ep 351)
🕑 Added 2025-08-07 15:00:11 +0000 UTCVic had no idea what was in store for him this week when Gilly the Clown barged into the studio today, his actual birth day! We had lots of birthday merriment including zooms from Vic Berger III & Lynne Berger, a suspicious interaction with Phil Braun, special birthday messages from some of Vic's favorite guys, and some major updates from the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia. PLUS, some new lip licks, Doug's Guess the Burger game and a wellness check with Mr. Trump.

The complaining guy was just an energy vampire. Make the show you want to make I say.

Bumping for lick lips

We didn’t get to see any of the lick lips segment! WE. WANT. LICK LIPS!

I’d like to compliment Doug on pulling off the overalls look. Wish I could!

the main issue with the calls is that there's only one or two per episode now. so if the call sucks it's like 'ok what was the point of that' - theres a lot of pressure to have a good call when it's just a one time thing. the shows format has changed dramatically. 6-7 years ago if a call sucked it didn't matter because Tim would hang up and get someone else on, because there were 15-20 calls per show - 'rifling through calls' he would say. now it's 90% pre written gags and guest interviews. either take more calls or stop doing them at all. 1-2 per episode is pointless.

callers should have a voting system like they have in those jubilee videos. As soon as 10 people downvote it, the caller gets cut off the air instantly.
Who Cares
I've been a patreon subscriber since day one. I listen to every episode. I really think the show would be better without the community calling in. I know you'll probably never change it, but I'd love it if there were maybe a special call in episode once every few months and the regular show would have no call ins. I don't pay for this to listen what the community has to say. I honestly don't care and in my opinion it's the worst part of any episode. I pay to listen to Tim, Doug and vic and talented guests. Just my two cents. Peace and love.
