I love your thoughts and messages from all this art. I appreciate your personal share and how this is freeing for you. Let your freak flag fly, amirite? I love Train to Busan and showed it to my friend a couple weeks ago! Fun fact: the main character is played by a S Korean heartthrob (judging from his resume) so it was extremely twisted and amusing to me when he showed up in Squid Game as the Slapping Man/Recruiter. Talk about a slap in the face for audiences! (Spoiler: He was also fantastic in season 2)

Enjoyed this post and hearing of some personal stuff. It's crazy how many of us have been through such similar situations that left us drained and wondering who we are anymore. Incidentally, I was very touched by your intermission piece with the canoe ballet and Van Warmer playing "Just When I Needed You Most." I connected that creation with the fires and it had me pretty teary. I've had to evacuate for both flood and fire but luckily unscathed. It does leave you with a knowledge of just how vulnerable it all is. The video you created also had me considering what you address here, our need to belong and a kind of mental escaping we do when we feel that we don't.
