As Matt said, she’s obviously not doing it every day, and if done safely and with at least a 2-4 week break in between uses, it’s very safe. It wouldn’t be given to literal children in dentist offices if it wasn’t. A lot of the fear mongering of nitrous lately is completely overblown. it can and will literally paralyze you if abused, but a lot of the negative effects are reversible with the correct treatment. As with everything else, moderation is key, and if you have an addictive personality you shouldn’t even touch the stuff, as it can be very addictive. By itself it’s a pretty boring drug imo, but when used with psychedelics, it’s pretty incredible lol

Only responding because you specifically requested. I think comment sections are a horrible place for conversation. To my knowledge it was nitrous. I have no idea about the veracity of her "mental problems" that's personal. To clarify the joke in my subjective opinion, she was joking that the alleged nitrous was her "medicine" for anxiety. Seems like a pretty straightforward/fair game/dumb joke to me, but that's just my opinion. If it didn't sit well for you, that's fine and you can complain all you want.

Just to clarify. Your goofs, spoofs and bits - I love them. And comedy is subjective and maybe I'm a dumb dumb but bringing whippets and saying your addicted to them as a gag is difficult to swallow for me having dealt with addiction. She clearly states she has mental problems (unless that was a joke as well). And if there's any time to just clarify a joke, I think this is it. Again, underlining here that please Google for yourself and read up. And Matt, please don't bring this up as a "some members just whine and complain as always". I'm simply noting that it didn't sit well for me, and I've been a listener since day one and never once complained.

Big fan here. But the casual use of Nitrous oxide was triggering. It's not like sharing a blunt, a glass of wine or similar. Heavy use of Nitrous oxide causes permanent brain damage. That nerve damage is not something you regain. While in small dosages it's fine but the way she was using it, indicates an addiction. That might be wrong for me to assume but clearly having to casually use it during an interview is worrying. Ask your pal Dave England on Steve-o and his severe addiction to nitrous and the damage it caused him. Or how Kanye West has embraced it and how worried the community is for him. In the end, it's the casualness of her usage is what worries me to those who view the video. Some calling her cool for doing it in the comments etc. Just please research and make your judgements for the next person who want to pass it along or treat it as an anti depressant. Or just a fun thing to do.
