Stupid Kid (Live in Williamsburg)
🕑 Added 2022-04-19 20:24:23 +0000 UTChey! you may have have seen me mention on twitter this morning that we got a really nice board mix from the Williamsburg show - I thought I'd post a little taste here... A song from the new record -which actually ends up sounding a bit different from the recorded version (no pedal steel on the recorded version) so it's cool to have this out there.
Again, the shows were just so so so so much fun and I think the audience agreed... the stand up set was this nasty expression of vulgar ineptitude that the audience got to pretend was acceptable (and even cheered on) and then the music set was a bit more genuine and relaxed... BUT i was still able to be funny and loose, as you might see me behave on office hours. So there are lots of little layers of emotions and modes of expression... that i think is kinda different and NEAT it can all exist for a night under one roof.
anyhow - tix on sale now... hope you enjoy the track! maybe we will stream the whole concert on the youtube one of these nights.
