🕑 Added 2020-12-12 17:06:52 +0000 UTCSeff to you! I'm listening to a GREAT new interview with Paul McCartney on the Adam Buxton Podcast... Adam is so funny and smart... A few years ago I saw this sorta of live/video presentation Adam does called Bug... Adam collected all this great David Bowie footage and talked about it all in a funny and intelligent way. It was one of the best shows I'd seen. I talked to Adam after and we hit it off. He's the perfect person to interview the over interviewed Paul, and although I'm only half way through, Paul has yet to tell a tale I've heard before.... It's quite lovely.
I've had a fun few days launching heinetwork.tv Thanks to the great On Cinema Professor and Programming wizard Justin Gaynor (hi Justin!)
As you know, for the past few months, me and the guys have been batting around ideas for the future of On Cinema and I started making this Google Slides deck to help me organize my thoughts, and to eventually put together a pitch document. It's not so fun. I get so frustrated and bored explaining things in that format.. it ends up feeling like a book report or homework where you have to DESCRIBE what's good about something with a bunch of adjectives... So I started a new document that would be from the point of view of the Tim character, as if HE were launching a new network, and that became more fun! I sent to the guys and we they piled on... Then we asked Justin to come in and build the site and turn the google slide into a slide show... It's all really dumb and crazy but to me, that site and the accompanying video is like a whole new form of comedic media to devour. it's living and breathing and you can argue and defend it on twitter... It's so much fun... and I think it will end up being what launches us back next year. I can't tell you have many ideas we have waiting to unlock...

OK, I gotta get moving, don't tell Vic or the Joe Biden NEA Fund but I gotta get a x-mas tree.
