Not Another Costume Party Story
🕑 Added 2022-09-22 02:15:51 +0000 UTC"How do I look babe?" I asked posing awkwardly in the hallway, having just come out of the bathroom after about 20 minutes of trying to wrangle this cheap spandex onto my bulging body.
"Like a superhero, my sexy superman!" My girlfriend Lydia said with glee taking the photo with her phone. She had a much more authentic looking wonder woman outfit on, whereas the costume I ordered turned out to just be some aliexpress drop shipping scam. The details looked nice enough, but never the less it was still nothing more than a screen printed zentai suit with a cape attached. At least I filled in nice.
I hadn't even planned on dressing up for Halloween but our neighbors insisted that we would have an amazing time. Particularly our neighbor Zeb, who handed delivered the invitation in his customarily exquisite pink suit. (Something I don't think I've ever seen him not wearing.) Something about him telling us that this party was the place we wanted to be on Halloween night just seemed to completely make sense in our brain.
The neigbhorhood seemed quiet when we stepped out side. We had planned on being fashionably late and yet with no unfamiliar cars parked in Zeb's driveway or out on the street, it seemed we were still the first to arrive. Zeb beckoned us into the house in a grand gesture and bade us to join him in the living room. Lydia and I sat close together on the sofa, across from two chairs which were placed in front of a fire place. I had to admit, Zeb had a nice warm inviting home, but decorated for a halloween party it was not. The only thing that could even be construed as a decoration was the ornate jewel that was hanging on a stand, the stand itself resting on small side table in between the two chairs before us. Zeb sat down next to it, patting the jewel lovingly as if he were petting a beloved cat. Then he looked at us, or should I say me, expectingly, hungrily, his eyes moving up and down my body whose shape was fully exposed by the spandex.
"So!" I said, trying to break the tension, "Where's the party?"
"Oh, don't worry, the party started the moment you walked in the room."
I felt myself immediately relax. Who needed other people- surely the three of us could have a blast on their own. With enough alcohol that is.
"So Zeb, you got anything to dr-."
"Superman and wonderwoman, eh? Who would have thought. I figuere'd you for a generic superhero costume wearer, but I never thought you two would go for something as basic as Superman and Wonder Woman."
Lydia started to explain, "Well my friends a cosplayer and-"
"Shut up Lydia" Said Zeb, and she probably went silent. That was unusual, as Lydia almost takes that kind of attitude from anyone. That's why I didn't bother to speak up right away. However seeing as she didn't feel the need, I decided to speak up for her.
"Zeb, I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak to my girlfr-"
"Oh you don't care about how I treat Lydia. You're more focused on making yourself look as sexy as possible for me in that Superman suit."
As my face shifted from anger into a calm smolder, I knew it was true. Zeb was gay after all, I didn't need to worry about him disrespecting my wife. Deep down I knew it was all in good fun and that Lydia would stick up for herself if she were mad.
I adjusted myself in my seat, spreading my legs out wide, making sure my package was visible front and center. (Gay guys think it’s sexy when other guys present their packages right?) I then put my hands behind my head being sure to subtly flex my biceps to really show Zeb how big my guns were getting. I don’t know what had gotten over me but it occurred to me all of a sudden that it’s such an ego boost when gay guys think that you’re sexy. They certainly appreciate all the muscle way more than women do. Lyda always tells me I don’t have to go so hard in the gym, but she doesn’t realize that I don’t do it for her. I do it for myself. So I can compliments from other guys, like Zeb.
“You look great in that Suit, Jeff. Why don’t you flex for me?”
I wasn’t normally one of those guys to flex for no reason unless it was for a show, but it was Zeb! Obviously I had to flex for Zeb when he asks. I sat up straight so I could get proper form as I popped a double bicep pose. I could tell it was getting him excited as his exquisite form fitting suit trousers started to bulge, and he began padding his crotch with his hand.
“Come on Jeff, you can do better than that! Get up, show some of those body-building poses I always see you practice.”
“Sure thing, Zeb!” I said, happy to provide the entertainment at my neighbor’s costume party of three. As I stood up I scooted past Lydia, accidentally bumping her leg. She looked up at me with a concerned look on her face but she didn’t say anything, so I just assumed her mind was elsewhere. Lydia knew I didn’t like to play guessing games and that she needed to tell me when she was upset about something.
I found a spot with some good lighting under a chandelier and set my legs to start posing. Lat spread, side chest, most muscular, all the various required bodybuilding poses. I had to admit it felt weird doing this in a costume instead of being naked in just posers, but I suppose its better that way. Didn’t want to give Zeb the wrong idea. I could tell he was enjoying the show as he was being more explicit about stroking the growing situation in his pants, which I had to admit made me just a bit more uncomfortable. It's fine when it’s just a gesture, but actual drew the line at him explicitly pleasuring me.
“Hey Zeb, don’t take this the wrong way, I’m flattered, but you mind chilling out down there? It’s getting a bit obscene.”
Zeb just smiled. He didn’t stop moving his hand. Instead, he just continued to stare at me as I continued to run through the poses, throwing in some of the more showy poses like Icarus.
“Sorry, I don’t mean to laugh at you, it’s just… I never imagined we’d be in this situation Jeff. You can stop posing by the way. Suddenly I felt my body relax and started to catch my breathe.
“Whaddaya mean, never imagined we’d be in this situation. Didn’t you invite us over for the party?”
Zeb smiled again, and asked “Jeff, what’s my name?”
“It’s Zeb. Zeb Killgrave.”
“Mmhmm and you don’t remember me having any other name?”
“Nope! I distinctly remember when we moved in you came up to us in that fancy pink suit you’re always wearing and introduced yourself as Zebediah Killgrave. Isn’t that right Lydia?”
I looked to my girl, who nodded her head, but then her eyes widened like she was trying to get my attention. I rolled my own eyes and in hushed tone said “Babe what is it?” It’s not that I didn’t want her to get my attention. In fact, quite the opposite. I’ve told her countless times that she just needs to tell me what’s on her mind instead of expecting me to guess, and this was just another one of those times where it felt like we were playing charades. “Come on, babe use your words.”
“Is everything alright, Lydia?” Zeb said with concern.
Lydia looked to him and glared. Then she looked to me again and once again seemed to be playing charade with her eyes.
“Babe come, just talk to me.”
She groaned with frustration and she started to tear up. God I hated when she got like this.
“I think you must be feeling sleepy, aren’t you Lydia,” Zeb said, and I could see the wave of sleep almost wash over her. I rolled my eyes harder this time. If she was really that tired she should have just said so before we got here. She looked to me again with half open eyes and shook her head.
“Yeah, your ready to hit the hay, but you don’t want to ruin Jeff’s fun do you? Jeff you’re eager to hang around with me, arent you? Lydia, why don’t you head on home, while you’re boyfriend and I get this party started.”
Despite her clear lethargy, Lydia stood up without a word and walked out the front door. I could tell she was mad, but I figured she’d get over it. I was more focused on staying here and making myself look sexy for Zeb.
“So where were we. Ah yes. My name being Zeb, and me always wearing this Pink suit. Any other details you remember about me, Jeff?”
“Hmm well…” To be honest, I never really took the time to get to know Zeb to begin with. All I remember was the name and the suit, and the fact that he always seemed to know what I was thinking and always seemed to have the best ideas. Then for a second I saw a flash of… another man living in Zeb’s house. A shorter, fatter, poorly dressed one, living in a house smaller and crappier than this one. But that can’t be right. Zeb was already living here when we moved in.
“Well? Did I see something in your eye? A flicker of remembrance.”
“Did you have an Ex or something? Real fat guy? Kind of a slob.”
“Ah, so you do remember something. Interesting. Sorry to probe your memory, Jeff, you see I’ve been experimenting with a new toy of mine.” Zeb finally removed his hand from his crotch to rub the jewel beside him again.
“I wanted to see what remains when I change things before I went ahead and changed you.”
A shiver ran down Jeff’s spine as his hands ran sexily down his torso. “Change me? What do you mean?”
“I suppose if you remember so little of the old me, you won’t remember much of this conversation once this happens, so I guess it wouldn’t hurt,” Zeb said to himself.
“Well alright Jeff, the secret is my name is not really Zeb. I’m not gonna bother telling you my real name because it doesn’t matter. Zebediah Killgrave is a fictional comic book character with the ability to command anybody to do anything. You see I’ve always had a thing for mind control so I’ve always yearned to be the gay version of him, and the one day, I happened upon this beauty, in a pawn shop. Don’t know what it is or how it works but when you touch the stone your words can warp existence. So all I had to say is “I am the Gay Killgrave” and suddenly my name is Zeb and I’m wearing a pink suit instead of the purple one. That’s right about when I saw you and Lydia coming home and when I headed over to invite you over to my costume party for halloween. I knew something had to have worked since the last time you saw you called me a faggot, but this time you were just so amicable to come over to the party, it’s as if that nasty little incident never happened.”
Jeff had trouble believing what he was hearing, and yet Zeb had never lied to him before. Or at least the Zeb that he remembered. Did he really call Zeb a faggot? I mean sure other gay guys made Jeff sick but this man in front of… why you couldn’t help but listen to him. Which Jeff supposed made sense considering his powers. So it must be true. Which only leaves one question.
“What are you going to do to me?” Jeff asked.
Zeb smiled and picked up the jewel, and murmured something that Jeff couldn’t quite hear, then quite suddenly Jeff was over come with a bright mesmerizing light.
