Helmet Malfunction
🕑 Added 2022-10-05 01:58:23 +0000 UTCHuh… Whuh… what’s going on? Who are all these people? Why does my head hurt? Actually why does my everything hurt? Everybody’s cheering. There’s something on my head. A helmet? Why is it sparking?
“Wilson!” A large man yells my name. I think he’s the school coach or something. He continues, “Excelent hustle out there! You really nailed that last play! We’re going to the finals thanks to you!”
“Um, sir, uh…” what was his name. I never had him as a teacher. “Mr. Jefferies? What’s going on? Where am I? Last thing I remember I was in the library studying, when all of a sudden I’m here, wearing this get up.” I looked down at my body for the first time and don’t recognize it. Last I remember I was 150 lbs, but now I was at least 180 and it was all muscle. My stomach was a cobbled road of abdominals, my biceps were big as baseballs. The helmet sparked again and the concerned looked on Coach's face turned into one of understanding.
"Ahh don't you worry Wilson. We drafted you onto the Football team after our quarterback broke his knee. Gave you a whole new personality and put your body throug a training regiment. That helmet their's supposed to keep the old you subdued in case the knocking about on the file jostless him loose. Don't you worry. I'll take you down to the school shrink we'll bring the new and improved Wilson back!"
