A Ronin Daring to Relax
🕑 Added 2023-08-28 16:45:54 +0000 UTCHis name is Daidouji Yoshida! He is a human character belonging to a friend of mine and it was a fun experience giving him a proper personalized visual! I know a lot of folks prefer erect pin-ups, but I admit I kinda have a biased towards the flaccid / semi-flaccid looks for these sorts of images! I think it's probably because it looks more organic? Like it's JUST gotten out and whether or not it rises to the occasion depends on your actions.
I'm trying to get in a better habit of saving my sketch layers before I clean them up too much, just to show my process better (instead of just deleting them when I'm done with 'em to save on layer space). It really just smooshing a series of ovals and shapes together until they look like something. That's it, that's just art!

THANKYOU! I really do try to like, at least make sure the facial expression / body language matches the like, "level of arousal" to some degree while still vibing with the characters' personality. π₯³

Both versions of pinup are good, and it makes sense to go with what feels right for the rest of the setting!
