After Hyunseong’s possession, Rizetta’s escape attempt didn’t last long.
No matter how much stronger she was than most men, trying to run through the city carrying the unconscious body of a grown man was practically impossible.
“Haa, haa… Is this the end…?”
She didn’t make it far before being cornered in a dead-end alley, gasping for breath and looking down at her clothes, now dirtied by dust.
She had no time even to feel the faint guilt of dirtying the clothes Hyunseong had bought her before two shadows crept up silently behind her.
“A dead-end, huh. What a pointless finish.”
“Give up quietly. There’s nowhere left to run.”
Seohyun and Naeun slowly closed the distance, intimidation batons gripped in their hands.
Rizetta leaned Hyunseong against the wall silently and took a step forward, clenching her fists.
“Hah.”
Her resolute posture made Seohyun snort.
“You want another go after being beaten like that already?”
“Of course. I have a duty to protect my master.”
“But that’s just because you’re following Child’s orders, right? It’s disgusting, seeing a puppet with no sense of self act human.”
“I’ve never pretended to be human. I am who I always have been.”
“…Oh, really?”
Seohyun, seeing Rizetta unwavering to the end, stomped the ground as if she were fed up.
“This time, if a bone breaks for real, don’t blame me!”
Just as Seohyun’s baton swung toward Rizetta’s shoulder
Vwooom !
“Uh?!”
“?!”
Everyone’s eyes shot open. The space around Rizetta and Hyunseong began to distort oddly, as if enveloping their bodies.
Naeun’s eyes filled with shock as she saw a faint ripple spread across the air like a pebble tossed on water.
“That’s… a dimensional distortion?!”
At the same time, the device on her wrist began blaring shrill alarms with bright red warning lights.
Before Seohyun’s baton could reach Rizetta, she and Hyunseong both blurred like a mirage and were sucked away into the space itself.
“Sunbae…!”
“I see it!”
Just before Hyunseong and Rizetta vanished, a silhouette flashed behind them.
It was unmistakably ‘Child.’
The mastermind who had been lurking in the shadows finally revealed herself.
Though they had lost the two right before their eyes, this was actually a major lead.
“Kelpie, transmit this data to HQ immediately. Codename ‘Child,’ anomalous dimensional response detected. Initiate tracking protocol.”
Naeun’s urgent voice echoed through the empty alleyway.
The next day, the same group gathered on the academy rooftop.
“He’s not coming today the transfer student.”
Mizuki, as always glued to Haruto’s side and staring at her phone, mumbled as she chewed on the rolled omelet he’d given her.
“Why bother with that guy at all? Better off when he’s not here.”
Akane grumbled, thinking it was pointless talk, but Hikari couldn’t say a single word.
Ever since the morning, yesterday’s events kept flashing across her mind.
The humiliating “service” in the confessional.
Residual pleasure, forced upon her.
And the shameful photo she’d sent him.
All of it seemed to strangle her, making it impossible to swallow any food.
“Hikari, is something wrong? You don’t look well.”
As usual, it was Haruto who first noticed the dark shadow on her face.
At his gentle voice, Hikari almost burst into tears.
She absolutely didn’t want this person, of all people, to ever find out her dirty secret.
“Ah, n-no, I’m fine. I just… didn’t sleep much last night.”
“Is it because you’re worried about the goddess?”
“Yeah, well… something like that. Don’t worry about me.”
She forced a smile as she made up an excuse, but Haruto continued to look at her with concern.
For some reason, even Haruto’s face seemed faintly clouded today, but Hikari couldn’t afford to notice.
Just then, her phone buzzed briefly in her pocket.
The moment she saw the name [Kai] on her screen, Hikari’s expression went as pale as a sheet of paper.
[After class, I’ll drop by for another visit. Look forward to it.]
It was short and to the point, but for her, it was a command she could not refuse.
After class, the academy cathedral’s confessional was doubling as a sort of counseling booth, aside from its intended use.
Perhaps thanks to the anonymity of the process, where even faces weren’t seen, students often came here to confide the sorts of worries befitting their age to a faceless priest.
Today, Hikari was in the counselor’s seat.
“So… you want to change that person’s mind, right?”
She answered the clumsy romantic dilemma of the boy behind the partition, desperately trying to keep her own voice steady.
“Nh…!”
Kai, sitting pressed close behind her, pinched and twisted her nipple through the thin nun’s robe, and Hikari barely managed to swallow her moan.
“Excuse me, Sister? What did you just say…?”
“N-no, it’s nothing. So… I think you shouldn’t rush things… Mm…♥”
She tried to keep her composure, but the cold hand sliding up her inner thigh made it impossible.
“Sister…? Are you feeling all right?”
“I-I’m fine. Just… a little dizzy ha!”
Finally, his strong fingers reached the damp little hill and Hikari clamped her hand over her mouth.
How horrifying and debauched this situation was.
Listening to another student’s pure worries, while feeling pleasure from another man’s touch.
“With the partition, as long as you’re careful about your voice, you won’t get caught. But you’re excited, aren’t you? You’re soaking wet down there.”
Kai gestured with his chin toward the boy and added in a scornful voice.
“I’m… not excited at all ! Nh♥”
But as his fingers traced slow circles around her entrance, a sweet sound slipped from Hikari’s lips.
“That guy talks about liking someone and all, but honestly, he probably just beat it at home to the sight of your trashy cow tits.”
“T-tits…? That’s Nnh♥”
“Sister? So, what do you think I should do?”
“Come on, answer quickly. Or you really will be found out.”
Hikari seethed with anger at Kai’s teasing tone, but had no choice but to swallow it inside.
“S-so… maybe you could… mm… write a letter to her…?”
Even as she endured Kai’s humiliating fondling, Hikari wrapped up the student’s counseling session.
After barely finishing and sending the boy away, Hikari slumped in her seat, gasping for air.
A faint heat steamed from between her involuntarily parted thighs.
“Haa. Haat…♥”
Things had been wrong since yesterday, for sure.
No matter the situation, how could she feel this easily just from a man’s touch?
And then the strange mark on the inside of her wrist she’d found while washing yesterday.
If that was related to what happened…
“You held out pretty well. Maybe you’ve got more talent for this than being a nun?”
The mocking voice from behind exploded her pent-up anger.
Hikari immediately rose from her seat, spinning around and slapping him hard across the face.
SLAP!
The sharp crack reverberated in the quiet confessional.
His cheek was slightly red, but his expression didn’t change at all.
If anything, he twisted his lips into an amused smirk.
“You’re pretty hot even without transforming.”
“You ! Just what are you?!”
“What do you mean? I’m just another ordinary academy student.”
“Don’t play dumb! What did you do to me yesterday ?!”
Just as she was about to swing again,
A door opened on the other side of the partition another visitor had arrived.
Kai watched Hikari freeze at the sound, then shrugged.
She had no choice but to swallow her anger and sit down.
But then another voice from beyond the partition was enough to make her mind go completely blank again.
“Excuse me… are you there?”
‘Haruto?!’
The shock was so great Hikari forgot how to breathe.
Why now, of all times why was he here?
“Perfect timing.”
To make matters worse, the devil behind her took the opportunity to dig his hand even deeper into her body.
His cold hand slipped through her habit, gently stroking her lower belly.
“W-what are you doing?!”
‘Haruto’s right there…!’
“Maybe you should just focus on your job? Wouldn’t want your precious Haruto to catch on, would you?”
“Kh…!”
“Or are you hoping for a rescue? Your white knight has arrived to save you.”
As he said this, Kai pulled open the front of her nun’s outfit, greedily kneading the breasts that spilled out, blowing hot breath by her ear.
“Uh... haa…♥”
No. She couldn’t let Haruto see her like this.
She couldn’t bear the shock he’d feel, or her own shame.
“Ah… yes, welcome.”
In the end, Hikari just barely managed to put her saintly mask back on, even in living hell.
“D-Do you have a concern you’d like to talk about?”
“Ah, yes… actually…”
Haruto, sitting unknowingly on the other side of the partition, spoke in a low, heavy voice.
“It’s not so much a problem, I just… I’ve been thinking a lot lately. I have some amazing friends. They’re always positive, always working for everyone else…”
He was speaking roundabout, but Hikari instantly understood he meant herself, Akane, and Mizuki.
“Sometimes, being with them, I just feel so ordinary and useless. Like I can’t do anything for anyone.”
Haruto’s open confession stabbed her heart like a blade. In any other situation, she might have been moved by his kindness and pain.
But all she felt now was the wicked hand binding her from behind.
“I…”
Meaning to say something, Hikari opened her mouth.
But the hand ruthlessly fondling her sex slid up, pausing on her lower belly.
‘…Huh?’
She felt a burning, unidentified heat flare at her womb, exactly where his palm pressed.
“Everyone’s always working so hard for my sake. But I just watch. I feel so powerless.”
As Haruto’s bitter voice pierced her ear, Kai’s fingers pressed hard into the newly branded rune over her womb.
“Nhhuu…!♥”
A pleasure unlike anything before seemed to shake her insides, electricity racing up her spine.
‘If he presses there… I c-can’t ♥’
Kai rubbed slow, insistent circles centering on the rune, almost massaging her womb directly.
The pleasure raging through her was so intense, Hikari couldn’t even think straight.
“Sometimes, their kindness feels so heavy. All three are precious to me… but I’m scared that, if I take one’s hand, I’ll hurt the others. Sometimes I wish I was just an ignorant fool…”
I should answer. I should say something heartfelt in reply to his pain...!
All she could do was clamp her hands over her mouth and twitch helplessly in the onslaught of sensation.
‘I’m sorry, Haruto. I’m so sorry...’
“Come.”
“Higuuh…♥♥”
Utterly sensitive already, Hikari could hold back no longer and climaxed at his command.
Luckily, her small moans were concealed within Haruto’s confession and didn’t escape.
“How pathetic, Saint. Listening to your beloved man’s deepest worries while coming from another man’s fingers.”
Between Kai’s mockery and her guilt toward Haruto, Hikari was about to throw a fit, uncaring of anything
Vwoooooooo !
A sharp emergency siren rang throughout the city.
Everyone in Sky City had heard it many times before
But not for three months. It was the large-scale incursion alarm.
“This…!”
Haruto leapt to his feet in shock.
Hikari too, wrenched Kai’s hand away and stood abruptly.
At last, her fuzzy mind snapped awake.
She staggered upright, roughly pushing Kai’s hand away.
She wanted nothing more than to grab the man’s collar right there, but now was not the time for personal humiliation.
Kai must have known it too; he gave her an irritating shrug and sly smile.
Quickly tidying her disheveled outfit, Hikari spoke one last time to Haruto through the partition before leaving the confessional.
Her voice still shook faintly with excitement and rage, but she tried to hold herself with dignity.
“Your friends will be okay.”
“…Huh?”
“Just you being by their side gives them the strength they need. So don’t blame yourself.”
“O-Oh. Th-thank you…”
Leaving the flustered Haruto behind, she rushed out of the confessional.
‘I can’t do this. I can’t betray someone like Haruto’s heart any further than this.’
When all this was over, she would confront that man directly.
And also Haruto’s feelings as well...
Her eyes burned with determination as she dashed toward the battlefield
But sadly, that resolve would never come to fruition.
