Malware Mod Information
🕑 Added 2024-02-08 20:51:39 +0000 UTCI've created a page to keep all of the information for the Malware Mods in one place. I'll update it as more info becomes available. I'm sure many other Simmers are doing the same, so make sure to spread the word around.

- Feb. 8th, 2024 - Updated the page to add a few more confirmed affected mods and included the ModGuard mod by TwistedMexi.
- Feb. 10th, 2024 - Mod Warning (Part 5) + Additional Info/News
→ Mod List Updates are going to resume today. However, there will be no Mod List Recap posts this week (and probably not next week either). I want to give a little time for ModGuard to catch any additional mods out there that we don’t know about yet.

I ran the CF tool and nothing was found thank goodness. I just got the latest ModGuard also.

I don't believe you need to if you didn't have the named mods. Curseforge and Discord themselves weren't hacked. I would still recommend to run the CF tool just in case you have anything that hasn't been discovered yet. And definitely install TMex's ModGuard to help protect you. :)

I don't have one of those mods, but do I need to delete my CF and Discord apps anyways to be safe and reinstall when we become more clear about what happened? Also thank you for your website and what you do!

You should be if you didn't start your game, make sure to delete it completely though. I'd also run the Curseforge Tool just to be on the safe side. And definitely install the ModGuard mod by TwistedMexi to help protect you from anything we haven't discovered yet.
