I think L.A. Noire is another title from that ere when games were open-world for no good reason. When I started playing it back in the day, I thought very early on that it should have just been a point-and-click adventure game. If it were made today, I think they could make it the same way they did then, just with modern mo-cap technology, and cut out all the sandbox faff.

There are so many great, iconic, or classic movies out there that it's getting harder to watch them all, much less all the shows, games, and books as well; it's tough to keep up with it all.
