Upgrades, updates & more

In July, the new design was launched, along with our somewhat mesmerizing live status/statistics page. In September, we added an additional 5 cache servers, bringing the total to 15. November saw us replace our legacy file servers with servers on a better network giving us improved speeds and reliability. To reflect these changes, I've updated the patreon page with a breakdown of our exact costs per month.
All of these upgrades are only made possible due to the generous support of everyone here and on buymeacoffee, a massive thank you to you all. Nopy was started with a simple idea and a single server, and now, thanks to our donors, we have grown to over 30 servers.
Over the coming weeks we'll be experimenting with a new file caching configuration on a couple of our servers, this should lead to improved speeds, but there is a trade off with RAM and IO usage. If the tests prove to be a success, we'll be rolling out this change across all of our servers in the new year.

I’ve been a supporter of NOPY, enjoying the fast no hassle downloads. A couple weeks ago IDM Internet Download Manager quit working with NOPY (still working with others). I don’t know what changed recently, but it has resulted in a lot of wasted download space/use. Lately a lot of files with a size over 1GB FAILS halfway to ¾ through. In the rare times this happened with IDM, it was able to RESUME from where it left off. This is not the case through just the browser. Easily over 10GB has been wasted in failed downloads.

It seems that NORTON has tagged everything with NOPY in the address as " Dangerous Web Page Blocked". I even had to bypass the warning to get to this Patreon page.

Same issue with it as well. Looks like the servers are not getting any better. Too many network errors causing cancelled transfers, and almost no transfer speed.

Yea I get the same thing! Thinking that once I become a patron Then that speed would increase! HA!! All it did was slow down!!! FKN Rip off if you ask me. : (

The last few days @ F95 .. the downloads are supper slow and some times they cancel. and of course I keep getting asked to become a patreon (I am already)

So I'm not sure if it's a result of changes, but I'm seeing that several downloads fail after a few K|seconds. Is there somewhere to report this?
