May growth, upgrades and news
🕑 Added 2019-06-02 00:53:25 +0000 UTCMay was a big month, thanks to the generosity of our supporters on Patreon and Buymeacoffee, our server costs are now covered! May was also the first month we transferred 2 petabytes of data (with over 1.8m downloads)!
With our current costs being covered, we can now start looking at upgrading our current infrastructure to improve performance and reliability. These upgrades will likely start manifesting late June.
We've also been working on a small redesign of the main site, refreshing the look and feel slightly, as well as revamping the statistics page to go into a bit more detail. Rest assured, the minimal feel isn't going anywhere, you can see the attached image for a preview. There isn't an ETA for the design going live yet, but will keep you updated.
The team at Jdownloader have recently added support for nopy, so if you're in need of a decent (and free!) download manager be sure to check them out.
Lastly, nopy couldn't exist without the kind support of all our donors, we're ecstatic that we've been able to cover our operating costs through donations alone, and this goes to show that free file hosts can exist without bombarding their users with ads or imposing limits, thanks to the generosity of others.

Mrfixit64, Why do I keep getting error messages on my downloads. Since I support your siteis there any way to sing onto you site when I download??
The service is good , but does download seem slow this 2 weeks. When i download a file its takes 2 to 3 hours.

You mean the notification that pops up sometimes? There is a box you can tick to hide it.
When I go to download something "Error 403: Download session is invalid". How do I fix it? I live in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.

I am already donating to your brilliant download system, however you continue to ask for coffee Patreon or whatever. How can I stop these requests? They make me feel like a freeloader. Please fix this as I use Nopy frequently.

Opening upload access to a wider group comes with quite a few issues that we need to ensure we're able to deal with such as increased bandwidth/storage requirements, more abuse issues, etc. We won't be adding more upload slots until we're sure the service is in a stable state, and it won't impact the service for everyone else. We don't have an ETA yet unfortunately.
