With all these boomer shooters popping up, do you think there will ever be another game like dark messiah of might and magic? The mix of melee and magic was fantastic and I am yet to see another game tackle this. Plus all the spellcasting games I see nowadays are either: "spells are basically just guns with a new skin" or the art direction is all over the place and 0% consistant making the game not as enjoyable.

So of this list the only one I’ve played is Dread Templar. I don’t know what it was like in the demo, but I loved the EA. Now that I saw Cultic though, I’m pretty sure that’s what I’m most looking forward to.

Cultic is fucking awesome. There’s literally nothing better than sliding up to a cultist and blasting them in the face with a sawed off. I also really like that the enemies will kick barrels and your own dynamite back at you.
