I do wonder if/when you're going to do AVP1/Classic 2000. That game stands out as being one of the first games I played over LAN at a game shop. It's also suuuuper buggy (in that in the original release if you watch the cinematic at the beginning of the level to completion, it DESTROYS the framerate for some reason.) But it also has one really cool feature that...I...don't think I've seen done in any other FPS since. Explosions work like real explosions, in that they're physical objects that deform to the area that they're in. Like I said, I don't think any other game engine has that... But anyways, awesome as always!

You delivered, sir. Thank you! I just replayed Max Payne 2 for the first time in years last week, so I chuckled when I saw the title here. If you review Max Payne and all the ports, I look forward to the title "Pro-Payne and Pro-Payne Accessories." I appreciate that you didn't make it as simple as "I love this game" or "I hate this game." The hour-long treatment I think shows the respect you have for it. It's almost like you decided to use environmental storytelling to get your point across! I also appreciate that you're approaching the 4-year mark and there is still a bunch of what I would consider "tentpole" stuff you haven't done. It really heightens the anticipation for a video like this one today. Looking forward to whatever is next! Edit - I'd also like to add, Marc Laidlaw is a very classy gentlemen. I've emailed him twice over the years and he was prompt and professional both times. He really is the heart and soul of these games I believe. Much like the G-Man, he is very effective at informing and/or manipulating the player, often in a subconscious way.
