Details:
Writer/Director: Kate Purdy
Producer: Josh Penn, Marc Provissiero, Bryan Deguire
Cast: Talent: Jenna Ortega [ELLIE: Offer]
Logline: Ellie Diaz, a high school cheerleader in Texas, is determined to be as popular as she possibly can be. She is succeeding until she falls for Adam, a nerdy musician transplant from the East Coast. Torn between the priorities of the popular kids and her new nerdy arty outsider
flame, she has to break open her value systems, and figure out what being alive is really all about.
Roles:
ELLIE: Adorable with an intelligent sparkle. Ellie was an outcast until she found a loophole in life. She realized that if she trained hard enough and became a great cheerleader ... she could make the varsity team and become "popular". Ellie puts a lot of stock into what her peers think. But everything changes when she develops a crush on ADAM, a nerd who doesn't view the same things as "cool". Offer Jenna Ortega
