Logline: In a world where people fall in love with inanimate objects, a woman who is attracted to perishable items instead enters a conversion therapy program to try and change her inclination.
Characters:
FLO: A nondescript woman who is sexually attracted to perishable goods in a world where most others prefer the company of inanimate, more permanent objects. She has most recently accidentally overwatered and killed an aloe-plant that she was in love with, and views herself as a rotting banana. She agrees to try a conversion
therapy retreat on the advice of her mother and travels to the country inn location. She finds the group odd and the regimen odder still and plans to get a refund, but an inspired speech by director Kai leaves her willing to try because "you deserve this," She bonds with loner Eugene and takes part in the group exercises designed to spur each attendee to an emotional state that will allow their brains to be mapped and have surgery to cure them.
