Logline: Re-imagining of the film THE BODYGUARD released in 1992, which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. Studio would like to explore what has changed since 1992 and understand the thorny concept of "celebrity" today within the context of a love story between a singer and her protector. The love story ls universal- it's a forbidden passion we've seen in hundreds of films from TITANIC to ROMEO+JULIET. But the dangers to celebrities are new, constantly changing, and swiftly executed - there is an audience that wants to peek behind the curtain and into the bedroom to see the trials and tribulations of our modern talent. How does a bodyguard keep an artist safe given these new dynamics?
