Quick Fix 07.02.23 - ver 0.8.0.1 :
-fixed crashing when trying to put maids in service while in the backroom menu if they were already in some other room
-fixed bugs with time stopping in backrooms and then timers not starting or starting even if time was stopped
-fixed bug with clients in VIP and Glory room staying inside if you closed the room with clients inside
-fixed bug showing camera button even if you didn't buy camera
-disabled escape menu if you are in backrooms to prevent errors
-fixed timing regarding getting Ideas from Career Room
Few new things in this update! 6 new short events to see when you unlock GH room (you can click buy button if you already bought the room and see the event without paying for it again), buy secret camera for GH and for each maid's HJ unlock (in perks menu). After purchasing these perks you can now control what the girl will do in the GH room during the day (zoom in on the room to get the options and info).
Moved the camera to GH from the escape menu to the backrooms menu. Now before you can see what's happening in the GH, you have to purchase it, or you will only see the shadows.
Thank you everybody for reporting bugs with this version, I fixed everything that was crucial and found even more bugs while fixing these ones. Bugs in bugs.
Because I'm very happy with how the backrooms work right now and a lot of cool things are incoming to them, I've settled this will be version 0.8.0!

Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.0:
- added 6 new events (unlocking GH room, buying secret camera and each maids unlocking option to choose HJ in GH room)
- added perks regarding maids actions in GH to the upgrade menu and now you can change maids action in GH room if you purchase this perks
- added camera upgrade to GH in the backrooms upgrades, in the escape menu you can still disable the camera but only if you bought it
- now, without camera upgrade, you don't clearly know what's happening in GH (just a shadow of a girl). The curtain lifts after you buy secret camera upgrade
- added upgrade that let's double and triple clients enter the GH (previously by default they could enter)
- made upgrade windows in backrooms more responsive
- if clients wont be served in the GH in anyway, now decreases cafe's popularity by 30.
- some more little changes and code optimizations in backrooms
- changed in chat tiredness to energy and changed the color variables for it
- fixed backrooms not reacting to time speed up or down or pause
- fixed mouth movements in the event meeting Emilia for 1st time
- fixed some name positions in client's book
- fixed energy drink descriptions and now it increases energy as it should
- fixed a bug with statuses not appearing during gameplay
- fixed a bug that showed old information regarding a backroom if you hovered over them in backrooms upgrades
- fixed a bug that sometimes let client to enter closed backroom
- fixed a bug in promotion room that didn't register correctly who is in the room
- fixed a bug that let you by mistake move character from promotional room to other room if other room was zoomed in
- fixed a bug not allowing 2 people in breakroom if you had a correct perk
- fixed a bug that started timers in VIP room for upgrades even if you didn't bought them
- fixed a bug that prevented comfortable couch upgrade in GH not work
- fixed a bug that didn't calculate correctly cleanliness reduction from career room
- fixed a bug where Sergil would double the cleanliness reduction and energy lost if he was in the room
- corrected few typos
I'm still having issues with trying to create MAC builds and now I have an issue with creating YYC builds (build of a game using compiled native code, in short: better optimization) so I will need to spend extra time figuring this out this week.

I can't buy the necessary upgrades or get the maids to do anything

No matter which option I select for a maid to do in the GH, they only ever do handjobs, and selecting a different option (whether before they have a customer in the room with them or during) seems to not save the selection. I started with Ame and got her to do the requisite 10 handjobs, and unlocked her footjob option, and I can toggle to it, but nothing changes. I have all the GH room upgrades.
