I have a similar problem, every time I reload a save, the presets applied on the npcs revert to the COtR default stats (but not weird or mutant head) I will contact the mod author and see if he can solve this problem (probably the best way) If not, I will create the followers to get them without using proteus and get a permanent look. I'll keep you informed.

I keep having to reset every character's face because they get deformed everytime I load a saveand some of the facial details get merged in between presetsgiving the player character a mutant looking face

For Quiet, yes use the pics of stephanie joosten and Quiet character too for a best matching. Why Project Proteus break your game? what's up with the mod?

Awesome. I would really enjoy being able to use all those characters at the same time in some way but I can't find any alternative ways to create custom NPCs since Project Proteus is just breaking my game every time. But I'll definitely be starting a new adventure playing as Kitana. Question: did you look at Stefanie Joosten as reference for Quiet?
