Personal Update

I've been debating on whether or not update you guys on my personal situation, being that I don't want to make anybody worry, but after talking to my therapist, she encouraged me to give you guys a quick update to help with my axciety.
As you may or may not know, I was scheduled to have surgery on the 30th, hence why the meetup and and the Q and A video got postponed, however, here in order to be admitted, you need to test negative for covid, and to my luck... 2 weeks before surgery, I was hit with the bug.
I took another test 12 days later only to find out that I was still testing positive?! To say I was in an emotional breakdown is understatement. I had been mentally preparing myself to have this done, the only surgery I had ever had has been my bypass, nothing changed on the outside, but this is surgery would literally change my life right now.
While the scale says I'm now just overweight and no longer obese, I still see myself as an obese person because of all the excess skin left after losing 112 lbs (50 kilos), so basically, removing all this skin will take me even closer to my "ideal weight" and being told that since I was still positive and that I wasn't going to have surgery that weekend, emotionally broke me.
I was told that surgery would be pushed for a week, that I needed to get another PCR test Wednesday (yesterday) to confirm that I was negative so that the surgery can go ahead for this Saturday... test came back, still positive?!?!?! I had another emotional breakdown, I took 2 rapid antigen tests and both came back negative I was no longer trusting this lab, my gut feeling is that they were giving me the wrong results, so my sister told me to go to a different lab to get new ones and that's what I did yesterday afternoon, and just now as I'm writing this, my results came in and they were in fact NEGATIVE! The amount of relief I feel right now is huge! I'm getting my surgery Saturday and I just wanted to take this moment to let you guys know what had happened and why my schedule is delayed for another week in all this.
