John thank the lone loser for his information, his words echoing in his head as John stand up from the booth. The man, whose name he hadn't even asked, slumps back into his own misery, eyes glued back to his phone. The bar seems to dim around him, the neon lights flickering as if in a sad attempt to bring some life to his desolate world. John decide to pay him no further mind and head out into the night, the cool air hitting his face like a slap of reality.
John search through his phone to learn more about this Mr. Big. He found an address for the next party he was supposed to throw. It was a large, modern house on the outskirts of town, surrounded by a thick hedge that shielded it from prying eyes. The place was known as "The Pleasure Dome", a name that sent a shiver down John's spine. He knew he had to investigate, to find out what was behind this apparent transformation of the town's women and, more importantly, to understand what had changed Janice.
He arrived at "The Pleasure Dome" and the place was already pumping with the bass of music and the murmur of a hundred hushed conversations. The house was a sprawling modern monstrosity, all sharp angles and gleaming windows that reflected the pulsing neon lights of the party inside. John could feel his heart thumping in his chest as he approached the gate, which was guarded by two men who looked like they'd been plucked straight from a bouncer's wet dream.
They sized him up and down, their expressions unreadable behind their mirrored sunglasses. "You on the list?" one of them rumbled.
John took a deep breath and hoped for the best. "Mr. Big's expecting me." he said, trying to sound casual despite his racing heart.
The bouncers exchanged a quick look before one of them nodded and opened the gate. The music grew louder as John approached the house, a cacophony of beats and laughter that seemed to vibrate the very air around him. He could see silhouettes of figures moving in the windows, the occasional flash of skin catching his eye as the lights played over the glass.
