PREOCO

Maybe you'll like old Thinkpad too(I mean in the IBM era and early Lenovo).

Thanks ;) Well actually I just took good care of it... And I didn't use it all that much in the end, mostly for backing up sound and photos when abroad. Actually the last time I brought it along to backup sound was in 2019! It caught some attention 😁 All e-mail things and such I just did on the phone.

I'm baffled how clean and unscratched the netbook is.... Did you buy an unused one for the video on Ebay / Marktplaats? Or did you treat it with some magic spray (after cleaning it meticulously) ? Amazing video & making of by the way... 🤎

Posy

Yes it is :) The material did not fully scatter all the light. You can still look through it. In the third shot of the youtube video if you look closely you can see some brighter parts which are the LEDs.

At 16:08, is it the actual LED being visible? So, the whole scattering works because your eyes are focused on the shapes of the cutouts and not on the LED itself? This is the classical Posy thing of taking macro shots so extreme that they generate new insights. Somewhat sad that it was probably too offtopic for that video.
