Seamus Q&A 🍀 answers!
🕑 Added 2025-09-04 17:00:12 +0000 UTCAlright Seamus fans!! I read all your questions and did my best to answer. I hope you enjoy learning more of the details of his life, sexuality, and psychology - I really tried to dig deep for these and not give you throwaway surface answers. Read on!!! Answered in the order the questions were received:
From @reterosexual:
1) has Seamus ever been in trouble with the law, given his love of uninhibited, risky public sex?
Despite all his risky habits and thrill-seeking, Seamus’s legal record is squeaky clean. An uncle in the police force gave him one of those special stickers you can put on your car, and that’s gotten him out of more than a few speeding tickets. Ah, Boston-Irish nepotism. As for sexual stuff, he loves a bit of public exhibitionism, but his instincts about where and when he can get away with that have so far held up.
2) what are Seamus's career aspirations beyond his bartending life? Is that his forever career or does he have dreams he's working towards?
Career? Car - eer? Is that something to do with cars?
3) What's his place with Eddie like? We've not seen a lot of the inside of their shared spaces.
It’s worn out and messy and cluttered, as you would expect for a pair of young guys with busy lives and not a lot of money, but not a hoarder sty like RGB’s place. It’s also bright and often sunny, and the walls are all painted different colors, leftover from some landlord of days past.
4) Has there ever been anyone who's turned Seamus' advances down? How did this effect him?
It happens with some regularity, because he’s out “in the field” so often making passes at women, or more secretively at men too. Nobody’s perfect! But whenever it does, he takes it in stride and doesn’t dwell.
From @Gary:
How is it that he rates as more of a follower, but rated highly as dominant? Those two traits strike me as being in conflict....but maybe he uses the sexual side to be dominant.
(with a followup from @David : Follower socially - goes with the crowd; dominant in bed)
As David said, he’s a follower socially, but in bed he’s more dominant. This is because he really likes to just go with the flow and be easygoing in social situations - he’s not one to make a fuss about what the plans are, or where the group is headed, since for him the socializing IS the fun part. Sexually though, he wants to be the one setting the pace, choosing the activities, and making sure his own needs are met.
From @Murphyus:
How much of his selfishness as a lover stems from him still clinging to the closet door? I have to imagine that some of him being so top-heavy (heh) has to be because he’s so hung up on his orientation. Or maybe I’m just reading too much into it and he’s still be a total top even in a rainbow tank top.
A good question! Is he really just that uninterested in the mental and physical sensations of bottoming? Or, has he just not allowed himself to open up to that yet - to allow his identity to encompass being “someone who does that?” I’d believe either, and I think either option could be equally sincere. Maybe the answer is somewhere in between - that he would experiment, in the name of trying something new and outside his typical interests, if the barriers he’s constructed around his identity weren’t quite so rigid. I doubt this is a question we’ll know the answer to until he has a chance to get more comfortable and discover the answer for himself.
From @Griffin Barrows:
1) What’s Seamus like if he’s bound and edged 1+ hours?
This idea appeals to him for a couple reasons. He’d be the center of attention, getting every inch of him stroked, worshipped, massaged, tickled, and licked. Also, he’d be able to show off his stamina, and at the end, his impressive load. But as for what he’s actually like - that confident jockish outer shell starts to crack. He’d be breathing heavy, flushed, tense and tight, no longer making banter but just making wordless groans and grunts.
2) what’s his safe space?
Great question. It’s not, as you might think, his bedroom where he’s enjoyed any number of sexual adventures - because that space is loaded with those memories and the deep subconscious conflicts embedded in them. It’s also not out at the bar with his buddies, as those situations always carry with them the exertion of maintaining a shield around certain aspects of his identity. The answer, for now at least, is out on the road on a drive in his car that he loves. Snaking around the corners of a road up in the mountains, just himself and the thrill of speed and the bond with the machine which he’s put so much effort into modifying, tuning, and maintaining.
From @collarmehorny:
If he's had one, what's the most homoerotic dream he's experienced in his sleep?
Oh, there have been several, and some legendary ones in the past. The MOST homoerotic dream happened about a year ago, and in the dream he was back in the locker room at college where he’d played on the baseball team. He was naked, and stood before the head coach. The older man carefully inspected him all over, which made him insanely aroused. Then, the coach told him to fuck the team catcher, right there in the locker room with the rest of the team watching, and that the head coach would be inspecting his technique and making notes. Of course, he gave an Olympic-worthy performance, and lust and admiration was plain on the rest of the teams’ faces. Oddly enough, in the dream, the catcher had shaggy blond hair and a beard…
From @oracles:
Are there things he's insecure about that no one would ever suspect? (outside of being closeted)
Definitely. Seamus is largely driven by an urge to make sure he’s respected and approved of by his peers, particularly men, and that is a driving force that tends to create insecurities about areas where he might not measure up. The biggest ones, other than the closeted issue, are about his relative lack of money and total lack of any long-term career ambitions. On the surface, he projects that those things just don’t matter to him, which is somewhat sincere - they don’t matter. But the very fact that they don’t matter, and even more so that he has no idea how to remedy those problems, are what bothers him late at night, and makes him feel lesser than his peers.
From @David:
Spit or swallow? Snowballing?
This question has no answer, because he’s never in his life given another guy a blowjob! He’s certainly fantasized about it, but for now, that act is a bridge too far in terms of intimacy with another guy’s cock. I suspect that the scene we saw of him with RGB on the couch might have been the first time he gave another guy a handjob, too. Until then, it’s been all just topping and receiving attention, nothing else.
From @AmericanOstrich:
Has Seamus ever deliberately let himself get caught stroking by Eddie and finished up?
AND
From @Mac Foraday:
In the "Seamus Caught" painting, who walked in on Seamus? Was it Eddie like I've always theorized?
The answer to both of these questions is Yes! In that early scene of Seamus getting caught on the couch, it was indeed Eddie walking in on him. And though he pretended to be surprised by Eddie returning to the apartment, the truth is that he heard him walking up the creaky old stairs of the building, and had plenty of time to throw some shorts on. The deeper truth is that the whole idea of Eddie catching him excited him, to the point he blew his load as the door opened - which surprised even him, that part was not by his design.
From @DocBlythe:
What are some of his PrawnHub searches?
Most of his prawn searches are for male/male content, probably because he has so much trouble scratching that itch in real life. He’s a big fan of POV content: top POV, blowjob POV. That’s the vanilla stuff for him. When he gets deeper into it, he also likes guys giving him jerk off instruction, especially more mature “daddy” type guys. And when he’s feeling really kinky, he likes group gangbang scenes, especially DP or Eiffel tower stuff, and super-especially in public or performance-type settings.
From @David Maddux:
Doubtless, Seamus experiences internal conflict seeing Eddie with Kal. Does that ever surface? Does he acknowledge it? How is it expressed?
Oh it’s been surfacing bigtime - and it’s not feeling good for him. He’s finding himself in a situation that he has no idea how to cope with. This is very much new territory for him! Half the time he’s been uncharacteristically brooding and sulky lately, and the other half of the time he swings to the other extreme, trying to be the best buddy he possibly can to Eddie and spending all kinds of quality time with him. He doesn’t want to acknowledge the source of these feelings, but it’s like trying to hold the lid shut on a pot of water that’s boiling over everywhere. For Seamus, acknowledging that he enjoys sex with men is one thing. But that he might feel sincere, deep, emotional attraction and attachment to a man, beyond what he’s ever felt for women? That is the ultimate terror that he can’t deal with. And yet, he is anguished by this situation with Eddie slipping out of his hands, and he’s suffering quite a bit watching Eddie and Kal’s relationship grow.
From @ParanoidDrone:
Is Seamus closeted in the sense that he's in self denial about his attraction to men, or does he simply not want to admit it to others?
It’s a little bit of both. Like how I described in the previous answer, he can acknowledge and accept that he enjoys sex with men, though he’s definitely not going to admit that to others. But, the fact that he feels deep emotional, romantic feelings for men - and even “worse”, does not feel those things for women - is the thing that really eats at him and that he’s not ready to accept, at all. Seamus comes from an environment that, while not outright hostile to homosexuality, nevertheless places tight constraints around its men. There is a clear unspoken definition for “this is how men of our culture are, and act” and he’s finding himself not fitting into that box the way he wishes he easily could. Tradition, expectation, and maintained identity all feel threatened and violated when he considers admitting the depth of his homosexual attractions.
From @Tom McN:
How did Seamus and Eddie meet/how did they become roommates? Did they immediately hit it off or was it a little rocky at first?
Eddie had found the apartment, and needed to find a roommate to pick up the other half of the rent quickly! He posted the listing, Seamus replied, and Eddie (for some reason!!!) immediately approved him to move in. The two hit it off almost immediately - mutual attraction probably greased the wheels, but they also shared a surprising number of interests, and enjoyed doing the small aspects of daily co-habitation together.
