sketch: Devil Tusky ππ Halloween 2025
🕑 Added 2025-09-24 17:00:13 +0000 UTCOrctober is nearly upon us and that means Halloween is around the corner, and Tusky's got a new costume for this year!! I polled the high-tier patrons last week and the devil costume idea won by a landslide. I'm gonna go a lot less campy and more dark and gothic with the tone of this painting - I want to switch it up and get a little scarier and creepier this Halloween.
But wait... wasn't this month supposed to be a Seamus painting!? wtf Mr. Celeryman, what's the deal?!!!!π€
Well you're right - and that Seamus painting is still coming up, I just made the tough call to push it to next month and do Tusky's Halloween painting this month. The upcoming Seamus painting is gonna be huge and complex, like Renaissance painting complex lol, and I am too short on available time this month to properly figure out all the elements of it. Tusky's composition is comparatively much simpler, so I can actually enjoy digging into his painting instead. This month is a doozy for me outside of the world of Celeryman art; I'm buried in work for my day job to support a big upcoming product launch (one that I've been working on for many many years!!!).
TLDR: Devil Tusky ready for you on Orctober 1st; Seamus coming NEXT MONTH when I'll have more time to do that complicated scene justice. Please don't be mad π

Tusky's got the right idea! If I had a throne, I'd recline nude on it whenever I got the chance.
