Osric: ✨HOLY + ICE🧊
🕑 Added 2025-04-02 17:00:17 +0000 UTCThe foolishness of yesterday is over and I'm excited to show you how the actual painting turned out!! I had so much fun with this one - god I love moody gothic fantasy cityscapes like this one here showing the holy city. Heavily inspired by Dark Souls!! And the details of Osric's armor were a blast to design. I enjoyed creating some common ground with Verrix's armor, since they're fighting on the same team together, but also making some unique variations.
I thought long and hard over his name, and ultimately Osric was the one I liked from my list the most. Ozzie for short!! I see this guy as being a close comrade of Verrix's, but different in personality: where Verrix is stern and disciplined, Osric is cocky and impulsive. He's gifted with impressive combat prowess and isn't afraid to show off when battling demons. Despite being from the Ice element, he's a hot-blooded guy - I kinda like that twist on things (and, when we eventually meet the Holy+Fire character, I think we'll see a similar twist where he'll be more cool-headed).

I think I dated him before the tattoos. I’d remember those swinging blonde balls anywhere. Lol

Really like the name you went with! Somehow his face really fits with the phonemes. The armour is just the right amount of protection and reveals his… weapons nicely ;) great job on the scene; lots of detail and atmosphere!

thanks so much!! I really appreciate that!! I love cityscapes and moody scenes like this too. Dark Souls 3 had some environments of this nature that were very inspirational to me. And, I will be uploading a clean version to Redbubble to offer prints of in a few days!!

Gonna have fun thinking of Ozzie against some strapping demon boys~

Can't wait to see this hottie (pun intended) in action with Verrix! I really love the detail in his armour, and also, as others have mentioned, the detail in the background is epic.

I know it’s hard to look past his impressive wand but the details on that cathedral… dude, you’re totally blowing me away. Kevin… I mean Osric… is absolutely gorgeous. Those tattoos, the body hair… that goddamn face. Absolutely stunning!

Hmm, he's no Kevin, but he'll do. For real though very nice. Love the new set of fantasy lads.

He's so amazing!

To be sure, a fine young buck of a warrior. The dangling spermsac, I think something new here, serves to inspire the imagination all the more! 👍

Absolutely gorgeous

His pose reminds me of a common resting stance lacrosse players take, where they place their lax stick on their shoulders exact like that. Cocky jock vibe.

Oh my god the tattoos. He's gorgeous and one again THE WEAPON. I LOVE IT. My satyr has a similar weapon vibe. They'd make a great fight!
Mac Foraday
Oh my, he's a ginger. My weakness!

Wow! This is fantastic! Yes, Osric is hot, but I want to talk about the background even more. The buildings in the background are so gorgeous and Gothic. I also love the moon and northern lights and the stars. Really, I can't gush enough about how much I love this and would want to have it framed. Really nice work!
