Seamus & Eddie 🍀⚓ shoulder ride
🕑 Added 2024-12-02 18:00:13 +0000 UTCGot this painting across the finish line!! it was a doozy to work on with all those people in the crowd but I'm proud of how it turned out, plus it was super fun to get absorbed in! I've been dying to share this scene with you guys for ages, cause I think it shows how Seamus and Eddie have a close friendship and common interests that exist outside the vignettes we've seen them in together so far. And there's that totally-platonic physical intimacy of the shirtless shoulder ride itself... gosh, the back of Seamus's head must feel so nice and warm... 😏
But what show are they at!? any guesses? I have a few, but tell me in the comments.

good spotting!! all that friction has dragged his waistband down suuuper low... does make you wonder.....

You know, now that I see this piece again, I notice Eddie's shorts are dipping SUPER low, and it's raising questions about what Seamus is probably feeling on the back of his head...

thank you sir!! I was hoping it would capture that kind of authenticity in the moment!!!

I love how real this feels! It's like a photo one of my friends might send, but so much more intimate than photography tends to capture in the moment. Beautifully done!

I agree with your read!! I think Eddie had a little more to drink (at least at this point in the night) and is letting loose a little more. I wonder if maybe this isn't a group that Eddie likes more, or is more familiar with, than him - he's one of the few not singing along!

I have some variants coming today!!! I didnt go for anything sexually explicit cause it just wouldnt work in this setting, though.

me too haha 😁

Wow, somehow I had it in my head it was going to be during the day but this is definitely more intimate with the low-light! Eddie’s patented carefree expression gives a great sense of him feeling happy and comforted with Seamus. The man in question seems on a similar vibe but perhaps a bit energised as well? Great work!

did you plan on making variants of this one? I can't even fathom what they'd be lol

Love these two together

looks a lot like it could be right?? I didnt have any specific venue in mind but something with that Lansdowne St feel for sure
Celery Man
good idea!! I like that one

definitely one of my guesses too!! that ravey lighting, plus the fact it might be something that appeals to both their tastes at once

thank you!! 💚💚

thanks sir!! haha as a matter of fact it was actually pretty fun. I realized that painting the "extras" was relaxing and stress free because they didnt need to look any special way, they didnt need to be recognizable characters! I could kinda just go off in any direction with them, which was freeing.

thank you!! I like how he turned out too. sometimes it just happens right 😁

MGM Music Hall Fenway?

Turned out great! The first band that popped in my head was Cage the Elephant.

My guess for the concert: the lighting makes me think an EDM festival, and Seamus has a Gryffin poster in his bedroom

I love this! This is such a great piece and you pulled it off amazingly! ❤️ (Be honest, did you hate drawing faces by the end?)

I love the lighting on these two, but man, the way you drew Seamus's face, unreal. There's something so right with it. But awesome overall.
