Actually, I was in a college service fraternity and the guys were comfortable enough with each other that they would do things like this, even out in public. Lots of game-day shoulder rides, as I recall - trades, usually, so both guys would get to see over the crowd. Thanks for capturing that feeling.

I think it was the massage pic where it seems that Seamus may have been taking advantage of Eddie’s attraction for a great massage. Good to see the support goes both ways.

interesting how the inverse would feel wrong, right? another aspect of this scene that I like is it shows a bit more about who Seamus is, around Eddie: supportive, fun, protective, and positive.

haha I honestly thought about whether to put fun cameos in the crowd - but ultimately decided not to, I feel like that would break the immersion too much. I want these characters to very much live in the real world

I love this so much. It feels like we’re seeing something truly new about both of them. Eddie fully inebriated and lost in the moment; the pure, unvarnished excitement on Seamus’s face. So much character exploration in a single image.

New subscriber here so forgive me if you’ve answered this in a prior post somewhere. What’s your process for developing your artwork? I’d imagine it starts out with an idea, then sketching on paper… maybe an app on an iPad… and then evolution to a final piece? Very curious of the process of an artist!
