Seamus & Eddie, movie night ๐โ 2k
🕑 Added 2024-07-01 17:00:12 +0000 UTCLate night in the summer at their apartment with no AC, Seamus and Eddie on the couch watching a movie. Seamus's shoulder makes for a great pillow when it gets late and those edibles are kicking in...
There's an easter egg hidden in this painting that only the sharpest celery stalks will pick up on. Anybody see it!?

Only just now seeing this. Really digging the look of longing there.

The detail on Seamusโs head is amazing.

Which drawing was this? I totally missed this.
Isaac Gacura
It's some amazing continuity to include the cum stain from the original drawing featuring the couch ๐คญ

maybe they need a 3rd roommate to cover costs...

GOD I want a living setup like this

Love the mood and the lighting in this scene; your night/gloomy scenes always feel extra great to me because of how you do the lighting.
Celery Man
thanks man! ๐ this one took a lot of effort to figure out, but, I love all those details and trying to tell a story with them.

Everything about this is so good. The attention to detail, lighting, etc. I especially love the facial expressions, and the recognition of slack facial muscles in sleep.

Celery, every time I think you have composed your Magnum Opus, but then you outdo it the next time around and I am flummoxed! Superb!! And Eddie's wood has got me a'hankering... ๐คค

Another great piece! The lighting from the TV and colour shift from the cityscape outside is really atmospheric. The attention to detail is great with the edibles and the Boston themed movie poster in the backgroundโฆ is that a hint at where they live?
Celery Man
thank you!! ๐๐ค loved getting into each of those details!!
MrBubbles
It totally is! I can see the stains ๐ What attention to detail!
MrBubbles
Is it the couch itself? I recognize the pattern from a certain early Seamus pieceโฆ
Harry Bleckby
Love this! Love the lighting, the TV glow, the shows, the cityscape out the window, and how comfy they look (parts of them, anyway). Beautiful piece!
Celery Man

Eddie does!!! big FF7 fan. that's good spotting but not the easter egg I was thinking of...

"The Departed" poster; film set in South Boston.

If you're talking about Eddie's evening wood....why yes, I see it.

I absolutely love this! Seamus x Eddie forever ๐ I wanna say it's to do with the candy packet, as it looks like it's referencing Tusky's pool party adventures, but I'm also questioning The Departed poster as the lower right image looks like Seamus pulling pints ๐๐
