hard disagree on the rating, the pacing is mid at least for pt 1 but the writing is far better than DR1&2, and leagues ahead of most of the OG series besides S8 9 maybe 14 & 5. call me a glazer imo most of ninjago is way worse than this, It could be because of expectations cuz i watched it w/o looking at any trailers and while i love my dark and gritty shows i never look forward to that so any hints of that is a pleasant surprise. my main complaints w DR as a whole is the villains' motivations being weak and overhyping the f5
