Self-Portraits from my the waters of my childhood home. These were taken a few summers ago... 2019i remember that i had so much emotion on this day... feelings flying through my skin and energy pulsing through my veins. i grabbed my camera and tripod and walked down to the beach. this is what happened... these images were the outcome. the sea and salt were my relief

This trip was very special for me. It was my first time traveling fully alone in years. It was my first time buying plane tickets for myself for pure fun/ work alone, without others, and taking a true chance. I stayed with friends and another photographer who I worked with / model for. This moment is all we have. I keep feeling overwhelmed with the ideas of fear and anxiety. How can I be more present? Meditation helps. Today I am upstate on a women’s birthday weekend. Why do I feel so alone? Why do I feel like my energy is so different from the masses? I meditated with these plants just now. They made me feel better. I love you plants. I love you earth. Nature moves my mind.
