I overlooked uploading this earlier. I wanted to give the Otto/Diana story a more hopeful ending. Many of us have had romantic obsessions and suffered for them, but there is hope for a new day, guys.

Otto gets a lesson on love that I had to re-learn myself not too long ago. I suspect other guys may need to hear this as well. One more page to go.

We end This Means War with a wrap-up of the Diana/Otto relationship. First, she is decanted from her Lazarus Tank, then, he tries to kiss her -- but is rebuffed .BTW that painting on the wall was an actual painting I inherited from my father, and hangs on the wall in my studio. It was one of several he purchased during one of his trips to Europe in the 1960s.

It's been a loooong time since I've had Bok, Alyss, and Zander on the same page. Pretty much everything after here is denouement, tying up loose ends.

It was around this time I started experimenting with putting Alyss' facial "seams" in the flats layer rather than the inks. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I forget to put in the seams when I'm doing the flats.

How did I fall 10 pages behind? Well, putting together the Kickstarter for my other strip, Not-Safe.Space, was part of the reason. Anyway, catching up now. I'll try to post a page a day here until I'm caught up.

A fair bit of copy-pasta here but I think keeping those ships in place relative to one another actually helps the action read more clearly.

Doing that fade-out with Hugo's hopper involved working on more CSP layers than it should have, but I think the results were worth it.That whole "wheeze-rump" and fade-in and out bit is something Hugo cooked up to fulfill a childhood fantasy, but it also facilitates popping-in and out of an enclosed space without creating an explosive or implosive wind-effect.
