MH day 8: yet more hair
A boring process once again! On the top of Drac's head, I drill holes for ponytails I'm doing thin ponytails (think Misa) and just wrapped black weft and some pink and purple around a bit of wire. Putting these aside for now I kept covering the head as usual, keeping the holes clear I slick the hair back, hairspray it, then pop the ponytails into place, hot gluing them. I'll probabl...
MH day 7: hairmageddon
Doing the usual yarn weft method with hot glue, I made and attached white hair on Frankie up until their skull cap piece. I decided to cut it at the end, so it's long now but we'll trim it later Next was the black, but with some streaks. MH day 6: painting wrap up
Immediately picking up where we left off, I lace up Frankie's shoes I also sketch on Draculauras hairline, painting it in black And did some painting on Draculauras heels I use red watercolor paint to give some dimension to Drac's eyes, yellow for Frankie's, and go in with pencils to give them both some graphic detail. MH day 5: tiny update
Sadly didn't get too much done this time around! I finished getting the base skin tones on Frankie's face and hands I use some chrome powder and a finger to give their boots a steel toe look. I popped out the nails for the time being And painted the lightening bolts bright colors After painting those accents, I paint the boots black, and put the nails and screws back into place
MH day 4: SHOES!
Sometimes the way I go about shoes is.... Unconventional. For both of these dolls, I'm actually carving them out of a block of sculpey. I cut out the silhouette shape twice and get to carving. MH part 3: busy work
I did a ton of random bullshit yesterday. Let's look I grabbed the hands, sanded them down where they needed it, and added things like knuckles and some palm meat. I add knuckles even when they're not anatomically correct for the pose, cuz I think it looks cool :) Apoxie sculpt ears! I probably could have gotten away with sculpey for Frankie, but oh well. i got a bit carried away in the process of sculpting these two today so i don’t have any process photos up til now, but here is the start of Frankie and Draculaura! i will be posting my process with these two for EVERY DAY that i work on them, so stay tubed!

Working on something new! It is a cactus that is a leg. I plan on putting it in a real terracotta pot :)

How I make hands!
Just want to share my process, this is by no means a tutorial, but it might help you out! I start off with two equal sized palms, then roll out snakes with a rounded end as fingers. They're all equal thickness, except the thumbs which are thicker. They're all longer than they need to be! I trim them to size and at an angle, placing them on the top of the hand piece. Here's process images from my Cleo repaint! I don't plan on posting her publicly until I finish her hair, so you get an advanced look! This was done with the usual doll repaint method- soft pastels, watercolor pencils, and acrylic paint layered with coats of flat Mr Super Clear sealer
