Wanted to try my hand at a full page with traditional tools. I have developed a whole new level of respect for the speed and efficiency (unhealthy work standards aside) of mangaka and comic artists that use a dip pen and paper for their standard works.

An Interesting Title
A smaller and then a bigger drawing to get a bit more practice with my pen nibs. These were some of the first ones I'd done, so there are a few mistakes and things I could do differently, but that's how you learn stuff! Do stuff even if it's not perfect.

These are... several months old at this point, close to a year maybe...The inked ones of Dakota drinking and Khuba rubbing their own sausage are inked with a gpen on rougher quality paper, compared to some of the other black and white images I've shared recently. Insane how much more I love using traditional ink on good paper

Happy new year!This was the first pen and ink drawing I did with the Deleter paper. I had bought one page of screen tones to play with and this was the result! I learned a few tricks and a few things to NOT do, but I reallllllly love the effect of real screen tones! I am absolutely going to buy more to keep playing with.
