October Volunteering: Habitat for Humanity
This month, I was SO excited to help with some home construction projects for Habitat for Humanity- an organization that helps low income families afford housing. Woo hoo! I'm filled with gratitude for hitting a milestone last month that allowed me to upgrade my camera equipment. My Canon 60D was being held together with tape (the battery kept falling out), the viewfinder was broken, and it was quite bulky to travel with.
