Gloryhole

For AlexTheCatteSometimes you just can't help but look.

Porsha, winner of the September Poll!I decided to change up my schedule a bit and not hop around between projects so much, just focus on one thing at a time so I could have this finished more than a couple days before the month ends. I really love this wolf, I'm glad I got a chance to do another painting of her. It's been a good few years since the last one.The full res versions are in the...

Sketches

Haven't given a whole lot of time to sketching over the last week. I've been mostly focused on finishing the last two YCHs, but I've found some time for a bit of practice stuff while I prepare the next one.

Inui

Winner of this month's Illustration Poll!I want to try and be a little more experimental with my illustrations. I tried to keep the lineart in this one. I thought it turned out quite nice.Edit: Fixed some overlapping issues with some of the alts.

Sketches & WIPs

Feels like I haven't posted art in a bit. I'm working on stuff, including more than what I'm showing here. I've got a bad habit getting distracted by new ideas so I've got a little backlog of things that are halfway done. I don't usually like posting too many WIPs because I feels like it kinda spoils the finals but I've got so much in progress stuff on at the moment I f...

August Illustration Poll - Results

Inui takes August with a lead of only two votes. That one was much closer than I was expecting! Thanks to everyone who participated!

Sketches

I've been without power for the last few days due to storm damage. Didn't stop me from drawing though. Can't say I recommend drawing by candlelight but I will admit there's a nice atmosphere to it. Thankfully I didn't lose too much time. It was basically just a forced long weekend. Also got a couple things I was working on before/after the outage.

Sketches

Last little post for the month. More species stuff and random sketches.

Queen Bee

Winner of this month's Illustration Poll.I went light on the alts this time. I've been a little burned out on illustrations lately and this one was kinda challenging. Bee's got a lot of bits to her design that were kind of tricky. Her midriff, hair and tail were surprisingly challenging to get the material right for. I've never really tackled I was trying to make the hair part look...

Sketches

Getting back into the species thing. I didn't even know brown hyenas were a thing until someone suggested one. I also had a go at some dogs (and fem Vortex), some practice with interesting poses/angles and gestures.

More Species to Draw

I've been thinking about that species sketches thing I was doing a while back since I've started posting some of those publicly now and I'm starting to get the itch to try doing a few more. Are there any species you'd like to see my take on?

Diane

Why get up when you've got the best seat in the house?

Sketches

Recently I've been focusing a lot on finishing the last YCH and readying the second one, plus getting the Queen Bee illustration started, so I haven't had a ton of time for time for sketching. That said I have done a couple things I can show off. Some Loona being told nice things, random practice stuff and messing with Carmine a bit.
