love from Illinois
35mm I don't think I've ever shared from the past few years visiting Illinois.
From Chicago | October 2023
This was the first time in a long time I've spent a significant amount of time in the Midwest. We went for about a week and spent I think five days in Chicago. I'm super biased but this is one of the best cities. Everything from art to music to the sights, the walkability of this city, everything. I forget how much I miss this. Don't get me wrong, the Bay is wonderful but between dodgi...
Happy 2024!
Thank you so much anyone reading this! Thank you for your support in my art and photography. This year has been a crazy one and I appreciate everyone hanging around with me through it, I hope yours has been wonderful.A small update on anything notable: Finished two semesters of school! I continued practincing ceramics. I dropped doing photography for much of the year but picked it up super hard ag...
B&W throughout the Bay
Shot on Ilford HP5 Plus Black and White. This camera was thrown in my backpack and I shot photos as I saw them. This roll took over a month to work through.
Update
A little bit of a lot has happended the past few months. First all, I haven't been shooting photos much but did dig into ceramics this semester for a little creative outlet. With the cost of film and rising living expenses (with the stagnant rate of wage) it's becoming alomst unstainable. While I'm sad about that I'm eager to pursue other creative outlets like the ceramics, stamp m...
flowers n bits from awhile ago
I haven't spent money on film in over a month, developing or purchasing. Saved a good bit of money. I think I'm going to chill for a minute shooting, it's crazy how expensive it's gotten and how all of my time has disappeared to school and work. Closer to the holidays I'm going to get almost thirty rolls developed as a little treat to myself. I have thirty as of right now which...

Midwest Winter '23
Shot on my dying Canon Sure Shot 35mm. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it, I'll take in in eventually but in the meantime I'm going to let it take a break. I've been using this bad boy for about ten years now, who know's how many shots is has on it. It's kinda cool the last few rolls have had weird light spots, I think the motor is slowly dying, not allowing the fi...
Photo dump
The last week or two. Coming into finals, I switched my majors. From business administration and marketing back to fine art + visual communications. I did just get two more associates so yay! But now I have another year before I can transfer. I signed up for a ceramics class, I’m horrible but it’s fun. I’ve been taking myself on a lot of dates lately, prioritizing self love and care. Not wai...

Writing this from bed, I just got off work, I’m a little stoney, and I’m waking up in a few hours to work again. Little update, not much has changed. I’m still going to school, working a few jobs, and am perpetually tired but happy. Here’s some photos of the past few months, all taken from my cell phone from around the Bay.

journal entry
I think my last life update I was telling you how I was going to be spending the Summer in Alaska, well that sorta fell through for a handful of reasons. I'm honestly not too upset I'm going to be spending the Summer in the Bay though.Hmm so since the last update, I decided I'm spending the Summer here, I've picked up a new job bartending which has been an experience so far. I actu...
published in Cravings by Chrissy Tiegan
I styled, shot, set up lighting, and edited these photos.I have a few creative and career goals each year, I used to have monthly ones but had to get realistic. The past few years one of my biggest goals has been to get published once a year. I want to give myself credit for my hard work but I also feel so fortunate to work with such noteworthy clients that have helped me accomplish this. Last yea...
