Chapter 93: Pixie's Mark!

Damian felt a warm sensation on the back of his forearm. When he looked at it, a tattoo made of intricate runes and floral inscriptions started to appear. The runic inscription and tattoo started to take the shape of a pixie with wings. Fortunately, the shape didn't resemble anything like Lily or Damian would be embarrassed to show to a female voluptuous winged lady on his forearm. Damian then started to read further in the mark's ability.
[Pixie Mark - The Pixie's Mark is a mystical ability that only a pixie can bestow upon its chosen person. Through this bond, the chosen can share in the pixie's magical abilities. But beware, the mark can disappear upon the pixie's death or if the pixie no longer trusts its chosen. Note: A person can only have one Pixie's Mark at a time.]

Basic Water Manipulation Spells - This is a series of pixie spell-casting techniques for water manipulation. The Pixie's Mark allows you to tap into these techniques to cast basic water manipulation spells, such as conjuring and controlling small amounts of water around you.
Rare Spell - Morphorion - This spell allows the marked individual to enlarge or shrink any living or non-living object to a certain degree. The effects of the spell are temporary and must be recast to maintain the altered size.
Damian felt a rush of information flow through his mind. He was suddenly aware of spells related to basic water manipulation and the ability to alter the size of any object, using the pixie's unique spell-casting techniques. These techniques required the pixie's unique language and the visualization of runes inherent to their magic.
Excitedly, Damian decided to test the spell Morphorion on himself.
In an instant, he felt his child-sized body begin to expand, growing until it returned to its former size atop the table. Lily, still in her three-foot form, watched him with wide eyes, amazed at the mark and the power it conferred.
He stepped off the table, picked up the oversized quill, and reverted it back to its original size with a simple touch. Cancelling the Morphorion spell was straightforward, but casting it to change size from the normal state was another matter entirely. Still, with the Pixie's Mark and the knowledge it bestowed, he managed to shrink the quill to the size of his nail on his third attempt.
"I can't believe you received my mark. It's such an honour for me, I can't even express it in words."
"You mean you didn't give me this mark consciously?" Damian asked.
"No, it just happened on its own. My magic must have felt my trust in you and yours in me, so it worked itself in the heat of the moment," Lily explained. "The Pixie's Mark works in mysterious ways that not even the pixies fully understand. I remember that only a few pixies who have lived longer than a century were able to give their mark consciously. Most recipients were animals though. Humans have rarely received it, and even among them, it was mostly children who did."
"I see," Damian said, pondering her words. He then looked at Lily and considered experimenting with the spell on her. She had mentioned that her magic only allowed her to double her size. Damian wanted to see how much his casting of the spell would affect her.
When he explained his idea, Lily graciously accepted.
Lily squealed as Damian grabbed her breast and cast the Morphorion spell through the Pixie's Mark. The mark thrummed with power as his mana surged, and within ten seconds, it took effect. Lily's three-foot form began to grow, surpassing Damian's height of five foot eight inches until she stood half a head taller than him. Though the spell consumed a considerable amount of mana, it didn't deplete his reserves completely. The true limitation lay not in his mana but in the constraints of the spell itself.
Curious to see if the spell could turn him into a giant, Damian cast Morphorion upon himself. His height grew to around ten feet, making him feel like a true giant. However, despite his efforts, he couldn't increase his size further. It became clear that the larger the mass, the greater the difficulty in altering its size with the spell. Checking his stats, Damian noticed a negative impact: his overall body strength, agility, and endurance had each decreased by two points in this giant state.
Cancelling the spell, Damian saw his stats return to their original levels. He then reapplied the spell, this time shrinking himself to the size of a rat. The world loomed enormous around him, disorienting him briefly. A glance at his stats revealed an even greater reduction, with his attributes dropping by seven or eight points.
Satisfied with his experiments, Damian returned to his normal size. Lily, too, reverted to her original form. Both stood in the quiet room, their newfound abilities and the possibilities they opened up lingering in their minds.
The spell had a multitude of applications, from aiding in construction by shrinking large stones to manageable sizes, to transporting significant amounts of goods in a single vessel. It also held great potential for espionage and concealment.
"Thank you, Lily, for your gift. It's truly valuable," Damian said, his gratitude genuine.
"I couldn't have awakened my ability without your help, my lord," Lily replied, her voice soft with appreciation.
Damian nodded and then proceeded to experiment with Lily's other ability: basic water conjuring and manipulation. The spell was straightforward. He concentrated, feeling the ambient moisture in the air, and soon a ball of water materialized, hovering before him. Through the Pixie's Mark, he guided the water with his mind and magic, shaping it and making it dance in the air.
As Damian practised, the water ball twisted and turned, responding to his every thought. He split it into smaller droplets, reformed it into a larger mass, and even directed it to flow around the room in intricate patterns. The control was precise, almost instinctual, thanks to the knowledge imparted by the Pixie's Mark.
Lily watched him with an approving smile. "You're a natural, my lord. With practice, you'll be able to perform even more complex manipulations."
