Kickstarter vs Indiegogo
🕑 Added 2023-02-24 02:33:46 +0000 UTCI'm planning another crowdfunding campaign later this year (not This Means War Part 3, that won't be complete until next year) and have been wondering whether to run it on Indiegogo or Kickstarter. Each platform has advantages and disadvantages. So I thought I'd ask those who are already supporters of QUANTUM VIBE: which platform do you favor?
I'll keep this poll open until the end of March.
Thanks in advance for your interest!

OK looks like we'll be going with Kickstarter this time. I'll fill Patrons in as to what we're cooking real soon.

I agree with Spiraltwist, with Kickstarter I can budget for the promotion and this allows me to pledge at a higher level.
I prefer Kickstarter because it allows me to budget for something, and potentially be able to pledge for more because I have time to set aside the money. Indiegogo requires payment immediately, which limits what I can pledge for if I'm not expecting the campaign.
