Welcome to the final SSFP of the year! And we wrap this year with an announcement that we are making a huge change to our Patreon, and with it, our financial situation. We recorded this just after posting a vlog explaining our situation, so watch that if you need to get caught up. Do you guys know that patreon gives an option to pay monthly even though you set it up to pay per video so some people are probably already paying monthly
I had the same concern, and after some reading, it looks like discounts on Patreon are indeed less money overall going into creator’s pockets (though they get to decide, 0-16%, what discount to offer). If you’d prefer an annual charge over monthly, you can always put in a custom contribution for twelve full months’ worth at checkout - the SSFF duo are worth every penny :)
This podcast reminded me to come an patronise you! I mean Patreon-ise you! I mean uhh give you money for content. Yeah, that one.
