At the risk of being gauche for bringing up pop culture, something very similar to this is parodied on Star Wars Andor season 2 with the empire's media narrative being obviously lying but also resembling exactly what US Media says about designated targets of us aggression and imperialism. "Local authorities are urging calm" "locals are inexplicably refusing to live up to the empire's values" I also remember a line in there that went something like "even some of the local Ghormans are wondering why these rebels are being so unreasonable"

Just this morning on NPR, yet another perfect example for y'all. Zionist ghoul, Steve Inskeep, did a five minute interview with the "opposition" Democrat's top member of the House Armed Services comittee, Adam Smith. The entire interview is insane, but a couple highlights: Smith repeatedly claims how Iran "is only DAYS away.... from making the decision to pursue a nuclear military program" ONLY DAYS AWAY yes, this is why it's necessary for Israel to do *preemptive* strikes. another disgusting moment, when asked if it would be legal for Trump to enter the war without congress, Smith repeatedly mumbles that he probably should but like whatever because it's been precedent for several presidents now to act unilaterally. yeah theres more too, this whole brief interview was nuts. https://www.npr.org/2025/06/19/nx-s1-5438111/democratic-rep-adam-smith-discusses-u-s-policy-on-the-israel-iran-conflict
