First, I want to say thank you everyone. I deeply appreciate the income that you all have provided me by signing up for my Patreon. Through the help of both current and previous subscribers you all have contributed (since 2015) over $23,500.
It has, over the years, helped me:
- Pay The Bills*
- Pay Down Debts
- Pay for Repairs on my Computer
- Pay for Creative Software
- Purchase Handbooks
- Travel and Survive Washington State
- Live in Houston, Texas
* Cost of living, travel expenses, games, subscriptions, etc.
You all have been with me through some significant parts of my life, and I will always be grateful for the backing of this community as I've continued to develop the Growing Pandemic.
Now on to what this is all about. I need you all to be aware that I am in a slump, I have been for quite awhile now. I still produce art, I still create boner inducing content. But, it's less, far far less than before.
I haven't lost enthusiasm for the Growing Pandemic, if anything I have so many ideas and plans. But... I often find myself lacking in knowledge, ability, self-confidence, and direction. I also find myself growing quite rigid in my own work, with the consequence being that I am unable produce things as quickly as I used to.
So I have started to see declines in subscribers, people wanting to move their subscriptions to more active artists, with better incentives... and I get it, I am completely understanding, because if I were in the same position I would likely do the same. It's okay.
But here is where I request a courtesy. PLEASE. Do not send me messages about you unsubscribing, because of whatever reason*. I am currently in a perturbed state of mind, and being poked about these things worsens it.
* (If you've already done this, apologizing, or coming to me with feelings of being targeted or singled out is not going to help the situation. I am just bringing attention to my issue and what I need from you all.)
I am sorry to bring this to all of your attention, and I am still working to resolve my state of mind. I apologize that there hasn't been a great means in which to spend points earned through the Good Boy Points system, and I really wish I could say things will change.
Only the future can tell.
