Life is short, and I only do things that make me happy.

For me, being someone everyone admires has nothing to do with success. The definition of success should be feeling happy and fulfilled, not making others envious. I used to be extremely afraid of cockroaches, but the first time I killed one, I felt like a success.
Once, due to my shy personality, I was called up to the podium by a teacher to read a text in front of the class, and I was so scared that I crouched under the desk. Many years later, I was able to win championships on the bodybuilding competition stage. In that moment, I felt like a true success.
Life is short, and I only do things that make me happy. Other people's success is none of my business.

You are very young and I see you challenging yourself in many ways; it is very good to see how you meet and often overcome in life's struggles. . . . I believe that you are now maturing into the realization that happiness is never the goal; it is the byproduct of your efforts. Right now your pride is in your accomplishments, and on a higher level of self; in the accomplishments of your students. . . . Someday (soon?) you will meet a worthy partner and you will overcome life's struggles on a higher plane and the pride in the accomplishments of your children will vastly exceed your pride in your students. . . . All in God's time :-)
