in the novel the description of the body of glutony goes above a beyond, is describe to have lots of diferent burns, bruises and scars, some look sexual in nature, so the fandom theorize he was heavily torture and sexually assaulted, maybe he was a child slave who suffer a lot and later was given the wich factor but who knows.
