Quick, we have to pump her stomach, said Misty, hurrying to Zoes side.
Cona stammered, Youyou want to
Hurry Cona, before it's too late. They're growing.
Zoes belly was large and round, wider than Zoe was. Zoe released a grunt, her belly button throbbing.
Still feeling stunned, Cona walked over and helped Misty to prop Zoe up against the wall, allowing Zoes belly to rest in her lap. Now Zoes belly button was twitching, and Cona could do little more than stare. Zoe groaned and clutched the mound as it trembled. It was absolutely massive. Zoes belly button pushed out farther, causing Zoes face to go red. Panting, Zoe narrowly opened her eyes, taking in Conas stunned expression, but then Zoe passed out again.
Misty handed Cona a jar. I have to go upstairs and grab some equipment. Rub her with this to help ease the tension. Ill be back as soon as possible.
Cona blankly stared as Misty hurried outside. Conas gaze shifted to the jar in her hands, and then back to Zoe, who was still groaning and trembling, even in her unconsciousness. Zoes large belly was protruding through the opening torn through her button-down shirt. The mound looked packed, her navel flushed.
Trying not to think about the mass amount of slugs stuffed into Zoe, Cona removed the cover on the jar and dipped her hands into an oily cream. She felt a little awkward smearing it onto Zoes belly, massaging it into her skin. Cona had never seen anything like this before.
Cona felt scared. She tried not to compare Zoes belly to her own developing mound. This was absolutely insane. Better yetjust some crazy dream. Cona felt jittery, but the more attention she gave to coating Zoes heated belly, the more Conas body seemed to calm down. Conas eyes widened as she felt the slugs squirm within Zoes mass. It reminded Cona of the weird sensation she had felt in her own belly earlier that very morning.
Cona gulped.
Zoe released another groan, this one sounding more relieved than the others. Cona could feel that Zoes belly was softer now, her skin more supple, with more resistance to the pressure within it.
Cona heard the door open. She turned her head and was relieved to see that Misty had returned, some equipment piled in her arms.
Misty crouched down before Zoe, unbuttoning the remainder of the young womans shirt. Cona was surprised to see a softness to Zoes formerly flat chest.
Misty then placed a large bucket on the ground beside Zoe and began to fill it with two gallon-jugs of liquid she had brought from upstairs. The fluid was gray with the consistency of milk.
Sodium chloride, Misty explained. Its the most effective way to kill them. Hand me that tube.
Her body moving on autopilot, Cona handed Misty a clear, wide, rubber hose from the pile of equipment. Cona saw Misty poise the hose it at Zoes mouth. Cant that hurt her?
Its our best chance to get those things out of her. And trust me, these creatures can hurt her far more than this tube can, especially if we dont move fast. Misty opened Zoes mouth and pushed the tube through.
Snapping awake, Zoe grunted and struggled as Misty forced the tube down her throat. The tube was thickit had to be an inch and a half in diameter. Once Misty was finished, Zoe seemed to calm down again, her chest heaving as her eyes darted around in panic. She tried to speak but just produced choking noises. She looked down at her pulsating belly and moaned in horror.
Cona placed her hand on Zoes shoulder, trying to keep her calm. Its okay. Were helping you, Cona said. Cona watched as Misty connected the opposite end of the hose to a machine, then flicked a switch upwards.
A blue fluid surged up the hose and towards Zoes mouth. As the fluid dove down Zoes throat and hit her stomach, Zoes eyes went wide. Cona could physically see Zoes belly getting tighter, Zoes face reddening. Cona gripped Zoes shoulders as the young woman began to struggle. What are you doing? Cona said to Misty as Zoes belly continued to swell. It was approaching the size of a beach ball. Shes going to burst, Cona hissed, Zoes belly bobbing as Zoe struggled to remove the tube from her throat. The mound grew tighter and tighter, Zoes face becoming beet red. Just as Cona considered pulling the tube out herself, Misty reached over to the machine and flicked the switch downwards.
There was a thwopping noise as the suction was reversed, the blue liquid being pumped back out of Zoes belly, this time accompanied by fat, beige masses. The slugs.
Misty opened the back of the machine, removing a half-emptied bucket of blue liquid and promptly replaced it with the bucket of sodium chloride. Cona watched Zoe gag as the masses were forced out of her throat, stretching through the hose, and smacking into the machine with sputtering noises that made Cona concerned that the machine was going to break. The hose stretched and contorted with the beige lumps pushing through it, probably much the way Zoes esophagus was contorting as she was forced to heave out fat slug after fat slug.
Now Zoe was releasing choked whimpers, clutching at her abdomen as this proceeded. Cona could see that Zoes mound was progressively softening, slowly getting smaller, as slug after slug was sucked out. They slammed into the machine and then there was a sizzling hum.
It was all too much for Cona. She fell into a stupor as she absently held her own rounded belly. Meanwhile Zoes belly shrunk down until her torso was nearly flat again. When it was finally over, and Misty wrenched the tube out of Zoes throat, Zoe released a weak, anguished noise, before her eyes rolled upwards, and her head dropped. She had fallen unconscious.
This was unreal. Cona sat there on the floor, continuing to gawk. Her gaze shifted to Misty, who was emptying out the back of the machine. The contents of the bucket were overflowing, and had become a slimy beige consistency. Cona covered her mouth with her hand, trying not to get sick again.
Misty glanced up at her. Finally ready to talk?
-
Cona stood against her kitchen counter, trying her best to breathe through her nausea. She ran her hands up and down her seven-month-pregnant-looking belly currently stretching out her button-down. She tried her best not to think about what had happened to Zoe. She didnt even want to think about what might be happening inside of her.
Zoe was sprawled across the couch, still unconscious. Cona had buttoned her into one of her old blouses. Then again, what was the point? It wasnt like Zoe wouldnt notice.
Misty was presently hauling the overflowing bucket of slug-juice outside. Cona tried not to look as some of it splattered onto the floor.
When Misty returned, she joined Cona in the kitchen. The two were silent for a while, not meeting eyes.
Cona was numb. She continued to stare at her belly. It was time to connect the dots. My weight gain. Is that whats happening to me? she said weakly. As if on cue, her stomach tightened, her belly button bulging farther out. Cona gasped and clutched her abdomen, her face flushed as she waited for the pressure to subside.
In a way, Misty responded.
This was too much for Cona take in. Quickly hunching over the sink, she puked. She gasped for a few moments, staring down at her grainy vomit. As she straightened herself again, Misty nonchalantly retrieved what was left of the second gallon of sodium chloride. She walked over to the sink and poured it around the base and down the drain.
Oh god, Cona breathed, beginning to sweat. We have to pump them out of me.
Its not that simple, said Misty. But theres still time.
What do you mean? said Cona, her heart pounding. Zoe had been far larger than she was.
In your case Cona, theres only one slug.
What? said Cona blankly.
One...large slug.
Cona blanched. Her skin started to crawl. She slowly lowered her gaze back down to her belly. Oh god, she said weakly.
From the couch, Zoe released a groan. She sat up, looking around in confusion. But then confusion became alarm. She quickly brought her hands to her flat stomach, then blinked a few times. Zoe finally took notice of Cona and Misty.
W-whats going on? Zoe stammered.
Cona tried her best to collect her composure. You kind of just passed out. Long night I g-guess? Maybe you should t-take the day off. Cona forced a smile.
The look of panic never lifted from Zoes face. She continued to hug her torso. Undoubtedly, her body felt weird to her. Cona could see that though Zoes stomach had gone down, it was still somewhat fuller and softer than it had been prior to Zoes infestation with slugs. Zoes chest also seemed yet puffier. She seemed to have abruptly developed B-cup breasts on her chest.
I I have to go, said Zoe, getting up. She paused, clearly sore. As Zoe held her hips and stretched her back, Cona could see that Zoes bottom was noticeably plumper as well.
With that, Zoe hurried out of the apartment. She was in such a haste, she left her broken laptop on the floor.
Cona heaved a sigh as the door closed in Zoes wake. Pretenses lowering, she became shaky again. W-what are we going to do about this? She held her belly. She couldnt imagine how they would pump her stomach of one, massive slug.
Cona, youre going to have to give birth to it.
