I don't often use fabric markers so I'm unfamiliar with whether they bleed into the fabric much or not, but I used masking/painters tape to mark out my lines on the shorts if that helps! I also waited a long time for one side to try before I peeled off the tape and flipped it over to the other side, just so it wouldn't get all over the place.

I'm scared to not be able to make a straight line on my shorts that I got for Rumi. Any tips on keeping a straight black line with a fabric marker?

Thank you!! I'm gonna be so real with you, I used a ridiculously old highlighter palette (KVD Alchemist Holographic) and rubbed the ultra-violet shade on with my finger 😂 But I bet any holographic purple shade would do the trick, or especially a holographic/iridescent eyeshadow stick.
