Quick story from a middle-aged white guy. I drive through the South Shore neighborhood every single day as I make my way to and from work in downtown Chicago to my home in NWI. One day about four years ago I was on my way home when I offended some shorties driving a shitbox somehow I am not sure but the started to chase me and let me tell you the driver if he is still free and living has a future in F-1 because I couldn't shake the kid and I was driving like a maniac trying to get away cuz of all the reasons your fine doc outlines. It was right during the BLM thing and I thought I was dead. Thank God I came roaring down this street when I noticed a CPD officer in his car sitting on a side street reading the newspaper. Yes a newspaper!! Might have been 20yrs ago. Regardless, I frigging ripped a left hand turn on to that side street barely missing a parked car in the process and stopped right next to the police car where upon the cop lowered his newspaper and looked over at me through his open window and said, "Can I help you?" I just laughed and sat there for a second, looked over at the shorties in the shitbox who were driving slowly past us and said, "Nah. But can I just sit here for a few minutes?"
