FULL WATCHALONG ~ THIS IS THE END
This Is the End(2013) is basically Hollywood’s last hurrah—a raucous, booze-drenched apocalypse where self-indulgence meets end-of-the-world absurdity. Picture this: a group of A-list celebrities, playing hyperbolic versions of themselves, trapped in a cataclysmic scenario that’s less about survival and more about who can out-swear, out-drink, and out-snark each other as civilization crumble...
FULL WATCHALONG ~ BUCKAROO BANZAI
Buckaroo Banzai(1984) is the cinematic equivalent of a mad scientist jamming with a rock band while battling interdimensional aliens—utterly bonkers and unapologetically brilliant. Peter Weller stars as Buckaroo Banzai, a multi-talented daredevil who’s part neurosurgeon, part physicist, part rock star, and all-around icon of cool. With his ragtag team, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, by his side, Buc...
EARLY ACCESS ~ SPIDER-MAN (2002) YT EDIT
Spider-Man(2002) is the movie that swung into our lives and made us all wish we’d been bitten by a radioactive spider instead of just getting stung by life's everyday annoyances. Tobey Maguire stars as Peter Parker—a high-school nerd who suddenly finds himself juggling acne, awkward first kisses, and the weight of superhuman responsibility. The film’s earnest charm is dialed up to eleven...
EARLY ACCESS ~ BAD WORDS (YT EDIT)
Bad Words(2013) is a gleefully irreverent comedy that takes the world of spelling bees—and personal vendettas—to a whole new level. Jason Bateman stars as Guy Trilby, a fast-talking misanthrope with a score to settle. He’s not just there to win a cash prize; he’s entered the competition to get back at his no-account father, the smug figure who runs the whole shebang and embodies everything...

EARLY ACCESS ~ DR. STRANGE 2 (YT EDIT)
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness(2022) is the MCU sequel that took a page (and a portal or three) from Sam Raimi’s book of horror-comedy flair, turning what could have been a straightforward magic adventure into a surreal rollercoaster of trippy visuals and jump-scare surprises. Benedict Cumberbatch returns as Stephen Strange, juggling multiple realities—and multiple versions of him...
EARLY ACCESS ~ TROLL 2 (1ST YT EDIT)
Troll 2(1990) is that legendary trainwreck so epically terrible it loops around to being entertaining—if your idea of “entertaining” is watching sincerity go head-to-head with abysmal filmmaking. The title promises trolls, but you get goblins—GOBLINS spelled backward as NILBOG, a clever twist that’s about as subtle as a brick in the face. The plot? A family vacation to a town full of sha...
EARLY ACCESS - SHANG CHI (YT EDIT)
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings(2021) is the Marvel movie that mixes ancient mythology, martial arts mayhem, and a few karaoke sing-alongs—because why not? Simu Liu steps up as Shang-Chi, a guy who just wants to live a normal life in San Francisco until destiny (and a bus fight that puts all other bus fights to shame) drags him back into his family’s complicated legacy. Alongside his...

EARLY ACCESS - THE MASK OF ZORRO
The Mask of Zorro(1998) is the dashing, swashbuckling spectacle that dares you not to swoon every time Antonio Banderas twirls his sword like he’s auditioning for a salsa competition. You’ve got Anthony Hopkins as the original masked hero, passing the proverbial torch (or sword, rather) to a younger upstart—and if that’s not a recipe for adventure, I don’t know what is. Catherine Zeta-Jo...
EARLY ACCESS - DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE (YT EDIT)
Deadpool & Wolverine(2024) is the kind of movie that tosses subtlety out the window and runs it over—twice—just to make sure. From the very first frame, it’s like the filmmakers said, “Let’s grab literally everything we have in our bag of tricks and fling it at the audience at Mach 10.” And you know what? It totally works. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have the kind of chemistry that ...

EARLY ACCESS ~ LOGAN (YT EDIT)
Logan(2017) is the raw, unfiltered Wolverine movie we never knew we needed but can’t imagine living without. Hugh Jackman returns to the claws one last time, and boy, does he go out with a bang—part reluctant guardian, part grizzled cowboy in a near-future western. This isn’t your typical spandex-and-explosions superhero flick; it’s a deeply personal, often brutal story that finally sets W...
EARLY ACCESS - CLUE (YT EDIT)
Clue(1985) is a comedic gem that’s only grown more beloved with every passing year, and it’s easy to see why. The ensemble cast is a veritable who’s-who of comedic heavyweights, each one bringing their own brand of zaniness to the table. Madeline Kahn’s deadpan genius still delivers some of the film’s most unforgettable one-liners, Michael McKean’s perfectly timed sarcasm keeps the ban...

EARLY ACCESS ~ I LOVE YOU TO DEATH (YT EDIT)
I Love You to Death(1990) is a dark comedy that proves even the goofiest murder plot can get even goofier when it’s driven by jealousy, fueled by incompetence, and absolutely loaded with pasta sauce. Kevin Kline stars as Joey Boca, a charming pizza parlor owner who can’t stop cheating on his sweet, devoted wife Rosalie (Tracey Ullman). When Rosalie finds out about his never-ending list of flin...
EARLY ACCESS - THE MUMMY (YT EDIT)
The Mummy(1999) is the rollicking action-adventure that turned Brendan Fraser into everyone’s favorite charming-but-slightly-goofy swashbuckler—think Indiana Jones with more wisecracks and an extra helping of sand. Set in 1920s Egypt, the story follows treasure hunters Rick O’Connell (Fraser) and Evelyn Carnahan (Rachel Weisz) as they accidentally resurrect a 3,000-year-old cursed priest who...

EARLY ACCESS ~ DEATH TO SMOOCY (YT EDIT)
Death to Smoochy(2002) is the deliciously dark comedy where the squeaky-clean world of children’s television meets organized crime—and everyone’s got a vendetta. Directed by Danny DeVito, the film follows Rainbow Randolph (Robin Williams), a corrupt and now-fired kids’ show host, who sets out to destroy his wholesome, rhino-suited replacement, Smoochy (Edward Norton). Randolph’s downfall...
EARLY ACCESS ~ SPIDER-MAN FAR FROM HOME
Spider-Man: Far From Home(2019) swings Peter Parker out of New York and into uncharted territory—literally. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame,Peter (Tom Holland) just wants a chill European vacation with his classmates and maybe a chance to confess his feelings to MJ (Zendaya). But the superhero life doesn’t do “chill,” and his plans are derailed when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) ...

EARLY ACCESS - CRANK (YT EDIT)
Crank(2006) is pure, unfiltered adrenaline in movie form—a high-octane, no-holds-barred action ride that grabs you by the throat in the first five minutes and refuses to let go. Jason Statham stars as Chev Chelios, a hitman who’s been poisoned with a drug that will kill him if his heart rate drops. The solution? Keep moving, keep fighting, and keep finding increasingly insane ways to stay aliv...
